Career 2KC - Varf Gone Crazy or All in One

Hello everybody! I was past 1000 goals with my 1KC career here earlier when I decided to take a break. After coming back I realized that I'm missing two seasons on my save. And even though guys didn't mind me replaying those two season (cause it's not really cheating with replaying matches) I couldn't make myself to do it. I guess major fact was the weight of those seasons. 100+ club goals each year with second season being a ridiculous 138 goals in 64 games. Plus a big factor was that I found excuse for re-doing since it was getting ridiculously hard to play international due to lack of players (yes, I didn't load Portugal 🇵🇹 when I took on Silva's 1kc)

So I thought:"ok, I'll start another 1kc" But then what's the point of doing the same thing... And I had few unfinished careers back in 18 and 17. 

Finally I decided for myself  to go all in (well almost):

• The 1000 goals challenge 
• The 100 goals club (obviously)
• The assist challenge 
• The 200 international goals challenge (kind of obviously)
• The calendar year goal scoring 

So this is it. And I want to go through with that. Another thing I'd like to do different this time is not use bulk-selling and -buying players at the very beginning. I usually can't help myself to stockpile youngsters and wait till they start getting results. Don't get me wrong, they get results in early game too but not as good when they are developed. On the other hand I might buy to sell a few to make some bank 🏦 Like I said can't help myself especially with that new system when you can offer them around without putting them on transfer so they don't get upset. 

Now I just need to figure out if I want to go exploring different leagues and teams or just stick with PSG. There are lots of challenge to be done...

I didn't think twice on who is going to be my super star all of the goals challenges

The younger the better, right?. And for assist challenge I would take my personal favorite Pulisic. This kid can play just about anywhere with right training and he delivers one hell of a corner. 

Let set some goals here. 

Considering fact that I was past 1k with Silva when he was 25 I will go ahead and say 2k career goals which hopefully will include 350 international all depends on how early I can get a Portugal job. And for Pulisic being that young as well 500 assists doesn't sound that scary.

 Hello everybody! It is not time for update yet. But I couldn't not to share this with you all. 

First of all here it is: the mighty 

I was thinking of Barcelona or Real Madrid but once again I couldn't help myself not to abuse transfer market. And in PSG absolutely everyone is sellable. 

This indeed was my best ever first season transfer window. 

And like I said before bulk selling and buying is my kind of gig. And this time I didn't want to stockpile youngsters so I didn't. Instead I went for big fish. 

Behold, Transfers IN: 

As you can see here I did abuse p/ex system as much as I could. 

GK They won't sell or exchange DeGea so I had to buy Strakosha first to offer him for DeGea. 

DEF David Alaba for only 50 mil with DiMaria. Koulibaly usually goes for more but this time I had someone bidding against me and they stopped at 40,5. Virgil was a tough one like DeGea but they wanted a left FB. 70 mil and Kurzawa. Also I brought in Schultz and Weiser for flanks and Militao as a good versatile addition. Ortega young lad from Argentina was meant be sold but I changed my mind and loaned him out.

MID Pogba, Goretzka, Can and Dilrosun straight deals. But Milinkovic-Savic and Pulisic took more effort. Especially Pulisic this time didn't come easy: 80 mil plus Juan Bernat. Rabiot was a p/ex for Savic. Surprisingly Felix was wrapped in a gift box 🎁 for only 18 mil. Fernandes on the other hand took 50 mil and Draxler to get. Neymar and Mbappe stayed but to be honest I was willing to swap them for Douglas Costa. No luck though.

ATT Nothing crazy here, just Silva as our beast who going to climb a 2000 floors tower over his career and Füllkrug as back up. 

And how exactly would you ask I was able to fund it?

Well for starters Transfers OUT

And of course bargains 

I've made 130 millions just reselling some young players. And could have been more but I didn't let Everton go for less than 45 mil. 

I sold Cavani cause I didn't need a world class striker warming up a bench. Verratti I a quality misfielder but quite violent. I my experience he got too many yellows and straight reds so I can't let him sabotage Silva's way to glory. Marquinho is a decent versatile player but not just my favorite and they offered enough. Kimpembe is a good long-shot player but again not the best youngster. Kehrer and Militao much better and more versatile player. Meunier is a good looking FB/WB/AM R but O never gave him a chance instead his selling payed for two new FBs. Thiago Silva, Buffon and Diarra just dead weight eating up on salaries. 

So this is about everything I wanted to share. Hopefully this beast looking team will rub off on Silva and Pulisic and these two young lads going to conquer football world.

Good luck with this one, nice choice of players. Silva seems like a no brainer.

I've had mixed success with Pulisic in terms of assists (sometimes great, sometimes scores too much), but I seem to be like that with all great providers (Amiri, Havertz, etc you name it). Except for one player who ALWAYS performs for me and scored 50+ assists in a season in my current career: yes, the man you sold to Man U for a mere 37M....

Anyway, best of luck with this, can't wait to see how it pans out.

Some great looking choices here! But I must agree with scratch on Pavon. Always been an assist king for me, and he will always be my first buy if my tactic uses wide men. Look forward to seeing how your first season goes!

Anywho. I am done with my first season but got sucked in playing second. I'll find some time to post first season results soon. They are somewhat unpredictable. And I will ask you guys a question or two, there is something bothering me. Stay tuned

Here I come with FIRST SEASON

I already posted transfers so let's see what my "big fish" players have done 

33 goals from sidekick striker playing mostly as a sub in second half. Neymar didn't want to play along tactic and scored few to many. And a real gem was Pogba. With 16 goals and 23 assists he was the most useful player and saved my bacon several times. And I have to hand it to my two CBs and genius when it comes to be swift around that goal- DeGea

They let opposing teams score only 10 goals. That's a bloody great result. 

Shopping for these world class players I hoped for a good season, but didn't expect it to be that good. 

And of course a clean sweep of all trophies

Have to admit Grp C was way too easy and then Inter right away was a tough nut

Unlike first knockout round a Quater Final was done for in 33 minutes after a kickoff. There is no coming back from 4-0 not with a squad we have

MU do need some squad improvements and they should have use Pavon agains me, not Lingard

Old señiora with CR7 put up a fare fight and only a quick longball was a winner 

 

As to our youngsters who's destined to conquer the world they had somewhat satisfying results 

Christian making a slight progress could provide just a bit more than Pogba. Not 50 yet @Scratch but he isn't 22 yo either. Will see  

Silva did disappoint me this time. I well remember that he got 18 in aerial in a moth with my first attempt (glitch?) but this time something happened. And may be it's because of world class players pulling the blanket or whatever the reason he barely progressed  

Especially Pace, Stamina and Strength. And that results in his constant tiredness and whining that he is being over played. Still 52 goals in 53 games is good for 16 yo kid. But again he only played maybe 3 full games and the rest he got subbed. I've tried to give him rest, but it didn't work either.  

Again 52 goals is good BUT he had 68 in my other save...

That was enough to get every award possible in Ligue 1

and make to the Best XI

HOW!?!? Dybala in OL? First time seeing something like this in first season. 

Flattered to be best manager  I guess having only 4 draws with 0 losses will do it.

27/500 assists 

0/350 international goals

A key point may be that he's not playing in Scotland either! Pavon did have that in his favour... 😄

I didn’t get why you were so upset with that.It would be quite interesting to have a player that we as the community have not seen before.I think Rob was just saying that it would have been interesting cause 1kc/2kcs have huge potential to also show hidden gems that can produce unbelievable in game stats without being in the wonderkids list.But it’s obvious that there is nothing wrong with using a player in the wonderkids list,just would have been more exciting to use players that we have never seen before! I’m not sure how Elia Petrelli would turn out so it would be really exciting to see him develop.Whether the career was cheat or no cheat,in the end,only the person doing the career will know.If you have a view that everyone cheats then your perspective would be fixed.However,I would love to just keep things simple and believe and trust that everyone follows the rule,even if they don’t,as Long as they have fun! Have a good one mate

Absolutely no shame mate but Maybe having not the best day if you got upset about someone's post? And I doubt  @Rob meant it as insult.

Hard part is to find a decent striker young enough and not on the wonder kids list. But dude it stroke me when I was reading. Really no one ever took a "weak" wonderkid for 1KC. Now I'm kind of curious how is it going to be?... Anyone up for taking a shot at it?

Actually it's funny, being English abroad, I've seen this kind of "misunderstanding" with the word "shame" before. Rob meant it (I think), and a lot of English people use it like "it's a pity". But clearly in some countries/cultures, the concept of "shame" is much stronger, hence the over-reaction
