Tactics 3-4-1-2

 Share

Recommended Posts

All conquering 3-5-2 variation I’ve been using with Braga & Marseilles. A lot of rotating with the post winter update. Key positions are the central centre defender, defensive wingers & attacking mid. I use defensive wingers for balance in defence and attack. Basically playing full backs high up the pitch. As seen in pics below. Also the libereo allows this when attacking.

Like the look of that, but looking at that again, I have to ask, do you get a lot of issues and goals conceded coming from the wings, as the advanced full-backs look like they’ll need some outstanding positioning to stop the crossing threat.

The fact they are defensive wingers probably helps with that, but I'd imagine they would need to be very good ones to stop the crossing threat you mention. Balls in behind could also be an issue.

I'd probably move them down to a wing back position and role at the start of a save, then ~5 years in move them up to get the most out of this tactic, especially considering that we can often max attributes more easily with evogens/regens than we can with real players (and that current youngsters with potential to max out positioning will take some time).
