After losing another of my saves due to overwriting, i decided to restart this as i want to complete this. I have already played a season so i will be posting this and it will again be in a different format than the normal way it is posted, even different from my Kangin Lee story. The challenge will be this:

Season 1

Hello and welcome to the press conference of Ranger club in what has been a remarkable season.

Reporter: Good morning, Mr. Kanegan and what a season this has been for you. In your first year at charge, you won the domestic treble. Truly incredible.

Mr. Kanegan: Thanks. It has been incredible indeed. To win three trophies in your first season in charge is a dream everybody wishes for but very few people succeed and i am thankful to god that i am one of the few who managed to achieve it.

Reporter: You also managed to put an end to the iron grip of Celtic on the Premiership, breaking their run of 5 back to back titles and in process winning your 55th title and the first one since 2010-11. What are your thoughts on the incredible fight to the league title between you and Celtic which has rarely been seen in this country before??

Mr. Kanegan: Yes, this was not for the faint-hearted. Two top teams finishing on 98 and 94 points respectively with the entire league almost 39 points behind doesn't bode well for the league but Celtic and Rangers are not called The Old Firm for nothing and the derby has always been the highlight of the season and we are happy that we came on top this season not only in the league but also in the two cup finals that we came face to face.

Reporter: There was also controversy surrounding your signings after there was outrage over your decision to sign the 22 year old Jack Harper and making him the leader of your attack. Also, your decision to play a 34 year old Steven Davies who was on loan from Southampton as a Trequartista just behind Harper raised many eyebrows especially when you had so many talented midfielders in your ranks but it worked out fine in the end. 

Mr. Kanegan: See, when i took over this club i wanted to carve an identity that people will associate with the Rangers and will make us different from Celtic. They splash their cash on many talented foreigners who come and win them trophies but i wanted to create homegrown heroes, someone who will bleed Rangers and Jack Harper is the culmination of that idea. He is strong, fast, good in aerials and trains harder. That's all you can want from him and his performances speak of the same. Though he got injured which derailed his progress somewhat but still, a very decent debut season from him. 

As for Davies, well you can't replace experience with anything and the way he combined with Harper and kept himself fit for the entirety of the season is something that we all should learn. We may well have seen his last in Scotland but he made sure that this would be a season to remember for him.

Reporter: Objectives for the next season

Mr. Kanegan: Continue winning trophies, that's the primary objective and of course, winning the Premiership has given us the opportunity to dip our hand in the Champions League football so we would like to qualify for the group stages and one day even win it. We will be looking at the transfer market to do some dealings as European football is a different ball game altogether and i am confident we can land a gem or two who will take the club to new heights. Lot of people were shed off this year with Kanegan looking to trim the squad but i think letting go of Rossiter can cost them in the long run, especially as his vision was to create homegrown heroes and you cannot get a better Scottish BBM than Rossiter who could have stolen hearts once he matured.

Hyde i think is an overrated buy at 8 mil. Just because he has come from Man City ranks doesn't mean he is any good. That money could have been spent elsewhere. Probably the star signing has been Jordan Jones who was signed on a Bosman from Kilmarnock and he had a good return of 11 goals and 6 assists from 33 matches @Av.R of 7.60

Another comfortable league title. Though they could not repeat the unbeaten season like last year, still it was an impressive campaign. Add to that the Scottish Cup win and so, Rangers have now won 5 trophies in the last 2 years. They also managed to progress till the knockouts of the Champions League.

Kanegan has placed big bets on Harper but this man still cannot win the League Golden Boot. Injuries have bothered him throughout the season. I wonder when will he take off just like our coach promised.

The home leg was an entertaining affair against RB Leipzig as we went down 4-3 to them. Even though we staged a brilliant comeback winning 2-1 away, the 4 away goals hit by Leipzig meant they were progressing. Still, it was some entertaining football and Rangers showed they can hang with the big boys in Europe. 

The Betfred Cup quarter final loss was simply down to the brilliance of Arzani who smashed a hattrick to take revenge of last season.

Glenn Middleton took the complete sweep of all awards impressing everybody at such a young age. Jack Harper though bagged the Champions League Golden Boot with 14 goals leading us through the qualification and our subsequent entry into the knockout stage.

Walker was the main assist man for the season scoring 13 assists and also managing 8 goals.

Another big name in Kamara was let go but i don't blame the coach, after all who can refuse 23.5 mil. Jack and Barjonas, the two architects of last year's triumph were also shipped out.

Leonardo didn't impress that much although he was supposed to while Ziggy Gordon needs some more match time before we can pass judgement on him. All in all, not too happy with the transfers.

A heartbreaking way to crash out of the Champions League. Rangers were on 10 points, same as Liverpool and Roma but since they had lost and drawn one against The Reds, the head to head record meant Liverpool progressed. But Rangers were not to be sitting idle as they showed in their Europa run. First they knocked Valencia in a very competitive match. Augsburg was defeated easily as well while Lazio felt the bite of Docherty who had been the star performer of the season. and come final, it took extra time but we defeated Man Utd and became the champions. It means that we had qualified directly to the group stage of Champions League. Amazing work.!!!

Docherty showed how well he has matured as he was retrained as a Trequartista just behind Harper and he gave great returns of 17 goals and 19 assists.

Lewis Morgan seems pretty talented and he justified his inclusion in the playing XI with 13 goals and 14 assists from 54 matches @AvR of 7.57.

The semis against Real Madrid was a real barnstormer. The first leg ended 2-2 with Madrid taking 2 away goal advantage to their home. But what followed in Bernabeau was a dream as Lewis Morgan became the star in the absence of Harper as he scored 2 and provided 2. The final was another fantastic game as we bit the mighty Bayern by 3-2.
