Tactics The mighty Sunderland - from L1 to UCL Champion 120 goals+

Hi guys!!

I would like to introduce the tactic that I use to take sunderland from league one to become UCL champion within 6 seasons ( 3 seasons to be in epl)

Lets talk about the formation

Basically it's 3-1-4-2 formation.

Defender : I have 2 centre back ( 2 CDs and 1 BPD). I recommend all 3 defenders to have high Heading stat.

Midfielder :

one CM who play as a BWM, try to find the player with a ‘dive into tackle’ trait 

two APs which I highly recommend to have high shooting stat ( at least 15 ). These two positions will create a lot of goals for this tactic.

two IF, these positions I recommend to use player with high pace/dribling/movement/shooting.

striker : two AF with high shooting/movement stats. These two do not have to be a natural advance forward. For me, I use target man( high heading stat TM will score many goals from corner kick) and trequartista to play as an AF and the result is very impresive

My Sunderland is very strong with this tactic, 100+ goals only in epl. But my players are really good as well since now it's season 2032 and I only bought a youth player with 4-5 star recommended from my youth scout and train them until they are good enough.

I won my first league in my 8th season. I found it harder for me to win the league than to win the UCL hahaha.

I’ve tried this tactic with Man United and its really work out but I try it again with Sunderland just to make sure that the tactic still work out for small team.

I used this tactic after starting a new save with Sunderland, i was ok up until Christmas then everyone got injured and went downhill from there.. might give it ago go in the future
