Cheery @Foxy! I’m debating whether to pursue 1k with my son or potentially hit 1.5k with Willem... decisions 🤔

Your son is getting better all the time. I’d personally go for the son 1k but that’s just my opinion and it’s purely your decision to make and whatever you think you will enjoy playing the most is probably the answer.

I guess it depends how many more seasons you want to do on the save as Willem probably has 8 seasons maybe but your son could take you right to the end of season 30 which is an achievement in itself.

Congrats on the 1k! Tough choice now as your son looks fantastic and could definitely achieve a 1k but with Geubbels only 30 1.5k for him is within reach too.

It’s a hard one, because I wanna see what happens when you hit the 30 year mark, I’ll probably end up doing that, but not sure yet

I'd go for the 1.5k if I was you... or sign two other strikers and try a TT with your son.

So after a while of thinking, I’ve decided to do another 1k with my son (Adrian Nicholson) this time. This will be starting on season two as season one for Adrian was last season. 

Season 2:

I decided to get our young en’ to 1k after I took France to Euros and won the final against Belgium (Screenshot below). I felt like it was a timely finish as Williem Geubbels hit a hattrick. 

 

Our young en’:

So considering that our main striker for last 14/15 seasons has been in cracking form and scoring a minimum of 30/40 goals a season. Our young en’ had some weight in his shoulders to live up to that expectation. 

I hear you all asking how he got in his proper season! Well, he smashed it! Hitting 55 goals in 47 games, he did get a couple of international goals, but as we know they don’t count because I’m not managing England.

I’ve changed my tracker for his goals as I wanted to gather more information whether he’s improving season by season.

The first two games made no sense as we dominated both teams, but struggled to score against New York RB

Honourable shout outs:

Two legends are retiring this season, and I was debating whether to keep them on another couple of seasons, but TTA and Mbappé have started deteriorating in there physical stats which was pain, I was subbing TTA off most games.

@smoggy90, yeah I think it’s a good idea, because hopefully this will take me to the 30 mark and last year when I unlocked my son, he was terrible defender

Apologies for the delay in this update, I have seemed to lost momentum doing this second 1k with my son. 

How did he get on? Well, he pick up numerous injuries throughout the season, so he only hit a steady 47 goals in 41 games.

Season 4:

I’ve started to get back into the swing of things with this 1kc with my son, but this season will have some shocks. 

So how did he get on through the season? Well, got 47 goals in 47 games for club and additional 6 goals from international duty. I managed to find away to get him and Willem in the team, which proved to be deadly duo.

Willem was just class in this game, untouchable for 32/33 year old.

We dominated the team of the season, only losing one game which we should have won.

 

BREAKING NEWS!!

 

So I’ve had an issue with Willem, he didn’t want to sign a new contract with PSG which he was on a crazy amount of money, but he wasn’t interested, so his contract ran out.

Signing for one of the worst teams possible (IMO)... He signed for Manchester United. I was disappointed and disgusted, so I thought I would do the simple sign back from United. 

Both United and PSG agreed a transfer fee for Willem, but when it came to the personal terms, he wasn’t bothered about the amount of money I could have given him. I couldn’t offer him any monies. 

I feel betrayed, but now it’s the end of the road for Willem and I. 😞

Season 5:

I will get this 1k challenge finished with my son, but it might take longer than Willem. However, I hope that’s not the case. 

Young Adrian hit 42 clubs goals in 49 games, and 5 goals in 7 games at international level. If he stays at this level then I will probably retire before he’s hit 1k.

In other news: 

After watching England come so close to winning the World Cup in 2018, but falling short at the semi finals. I decided to bring that together and enjoyment back to England, where everyone is in the pub with their love ones, biting their finger nails not knowing whether if it would be England year. 

Step up Kyle Nicholson and Co, to bring success back to the England in the year 2036, or we would die trying.

After winning back to back friendlies, there was hope and excitement for Kyle’s England, but we faced Turkey 🇹🇷 in the opening European game.

We glided pass them with ease, scoring 5 goals and keeping the clean sheet. 

 

Next up; Denmark 🇩🇰 

After the opening game everyone was expecting another high scoring game, you heard whispers of another 5-0. You can feel the hope.

Sadly, Denmark was the better side, but our plucky England side stayed strong for a 0-0

After the Denmark game, you heard mutters whether we could progress to the next round and 5-0 against Turkey was a lucky result.

Next up; Belgium 🇧🇪 

We all know how England faced up against Belgium previously, losing to them both in the group stages and 3rd place play off, so there was worry amongst the England supporters.

The England supporters had nothing to worry about as England was the more dominant side and keeping another clean, a steady 2-0 victory as we progress further through the competition.

 

Next up; Iceland 🇮🇸 

The awful game against Iceland comes to mind, where we was favourites to win, but ended up losing 2-1... England fans are praying that wouldn’t happen again.

So, as we kicked off you sense the nervousness around the stadium. However, I was confident that we could get good win under our belt against Iceland.

It’s fair to say we absolutely battered them, winning 7-0. You could chants in the stadiums of “We want more”.

 

Next step; Hungary 🇭🇺 

After better Iceland 7-0, I thought Hungary won’t be that hard as they was strong in the 1970-1990, but they’ve fallen off since then. 

They soon gave England and I, a shock. They took the lead early, which my heart sank. Was I going be knocked by Hungary... No, Coleman popped up ten minutes later to bring us level.

Then, Tope Brittain converted a penalty in the 38th minute to help us gain the lead. Lastly, Adrian Nicholson found himself in tons of room to slot the finish past the Hungarian goalkeeper, meaning the game ended 3-1 to England.

 

Next up; Sweden 🇸🇪 (Semifinals) 

We came up against a tough, organised Swedish team, where we scored early on, but couldn’t seem to make the most of our attacks. Even less so when they got man sent off, but a simple 1-0 victory saw England book there place in the final.

 

Next up; Holland 🇳🇱 

So the day has come and we face the mighty tangerines, mainly known for creating the remarkable 4-3-3 formation. I went into this game more nervous than the last, the weight of England’s success on my shoulders. 

An early goal by Jody Nolan settles my nerves, we was all over the Dutch team, and the pressure was rewarded by a goal from Tope Brittain in the 31st minute. We lead 2-0 at half time.

Second half kicked off. 

I thought another goal would settle the nervous of the players and fans. That’s exactly what we got, step Mr Nicholson, he scored in the 59th minute, but he wasn’t done there... He grabbed another on the 68th minute to put us 4-0 up. However, Terry Foster, chipped in with another goal in the 73rd minute to put us 5-0 up.

Fair to say the fans started celebrating, singing “It’s coming home, it’s coming home” and “God save our queen” sent shives down my spine. 

 

We was crowned European Champions of 2036.

Season 6:

So I’ve gotten back into swing things with this career and I know this season will be bring some surprise coming up. 

So, how did young Adrian Nicholson get on, well he smashed 66 in 54 games for club and 6 goals in 9 international games. 

 

As you can see he’s join Porto, but so have I... I saw the opportunity for him to score more goals. I gave him a new contract at PSG before leaving for Porto with 30 million buyout cause #Loophole

We won the cup at PSG then left for Porto, not bad first season claiming the title and a cup, but I need to improve the team

Well, you couldn’t have written our fate with the champions league, we glided through the group stage, but we got given our draw... and it was PSG. I thought well that’s end of the journey, but I’m sturdy Porto team proved me wrong.

We grabbed an away goal, which I didn’t expect. We lost the first leg, but young Nicho grabbed the goal.

Home leg:

PSG had nothing to worry about. Nicho got sent off within the first ten minutes, which I definitely thought well this is the end of the road. However, we had a goal disallowed from Nicho even though he’d been sent off 8 minutes beforehand... weird. We grabbed two and I started celebrating then they grabbed a late goal. So, here came extra time, nothing happened so here came penalties. We scored all of ours and PSG missed there first two.
