Help Moving game to a new phone

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I tried searching but couldn't seem to find an answer, i'm in the process of getting a new phone.

I've currently got a 10yr save game on the go, Ajax to win all 3 seasons in a row, French Manager to win all & now getting Altrincham to rise up the leagues.

How do I ensure all of my save game data will be copied across as i'll need to factory reset my old phone at some point?

Do I just install FMM19 on new phone & copy the entire SI Folder on top?

If you just want the save then you just need to backup the save file which you will find in the games file of the SI folder. Once you have the game on your new phone you just put that file into the same folder on that device.

I’m not sure if the unlockables transfer so that you can use them in a new save or not.

I think to keep them there is a config file that you need to transfer as well but I’m not sure on its exact location as I haven’t done it before.

Config location

Sports Interactive - FMM19 - Normal - Cache

I have heard transferring that doesn't always work though but that is the file. Tbf the file system is pretty simple, especially on Android
