Help How can i make my lone striker a goalscoring machine

**Sorry for my bad english**

As the title says how can i make my lone striker score lots of goals? he doesn't score enough to my liking, and i want him to be the main goalscorer!

I don't think his attributes are the problem as he looks solid

Tactics:

Earlier i was using through balls but it only seems to be working well against the teams that push up defensive line but against defensive teams this tactic didn't go well.

Other players are scoring too much

 

What changes should i make?? Player roles, tactic , team instructions?? If anybody have good tactic please provide me. For a long time i am trying to make a tactic focused on my lone striker but i am unable to make one☹️

Play more direct I think as he is a target man and his aerial stats are good, get your wingers more involved too. Maybe sign a stop gap like Douglas Costa as he’s the best crosser in the game, also did you sell Bale?!
