Career MikeF - Double Trouble, Triple Threat and 100 Club (Done)

Too many times I've followed long careers by long careers which isn't recommendable 😂 but I prefer them over shorter ones. I guess I'm older and wiser now to know better and mix it up a bit more.

Same happened to me towards the end of my last couple of long careers. I find they are great when the goals are really flying but once you kind of know you are going to reach your target they can become a grind. Well that’s how I see it for myself anyway. I’ll be doing shorter stuff next year at the beginning anyway.

Great job here though to get the DT and TT done in one career. 👍

BONUS CONTENT

Realised that in my quest for the Triple Crown my application for the 100 club was unsuccessful. 
 

This called for one last season in this career to see if I can get a striker to score over 100 Club goals in a season. 
 

The man:

He didn’t come cheap but he’s clearly world class so gives me my best shot at this...

So how did we do?

 

Success! 120 goals scored in 57 matches (2.11 gpg).

Just read all of this (had it in an open tab for the longest time, but didn't get to it until now sorry). A couple of massive career(s) there.

I'll admit that I'd never even heard of Boadu before but he looked a decent sort! Surprised he did better than Silva, but that just shows how good he is. Then your strikers in the TT were just next level. And great work with the icing on the cake (the 100 club).

Got lucky in my TT in that a couple regen looking players were born. 
 

Not sure if i’m doing much else before FMM20 tbh. I’m off on hols for two weeks so doesn’t leave much time. Saying that, stranger things have happened 😂

If I was you, I'd take a long break! Of course, I've got about 20 seasons in front of me at the moment, so I can't talk! 😄

Yeah, those TT players looked great. Definitely Salah 2.0 and probably Neymar? Not sure who the English chap was though, but he was pretty good too.
