Thank you very much, I’m sure you’ll find something that works before too long.

Excellent mate, barring injuries he should be able to maintain this form for a good 3-4 seasons which would certainly take you over the 1.5k.

Cheers Smoggy, I hope you are right.

cracking stuff Ian, although I note that he appears to be slowing down.... ;)

Thanks Mr Tree, hopefully he has plenty more goals left in him.

He's back in the 100s. Barring any major injuries, which I doubt much, he should hit 1.5K in 3-4 years. Great stuff 👍

Cheers shosky, yes that would be nice.

He's only worth 87M?

He's 29, scored >1100 goals, won everything repeatedly (and has good stats for what that is worth).  IRL, CR7 went for 99M being older and having achieved much less.

Yes I know sometimes you just have to take yourself out of reality when it comes to FMM as it’s probably the only way to enjoy it imo.

Season Twelve

Moise needs 362 goals to reach our target with five seasons left on his contract including this one so he has a great chance of achieving it. Of course he’s going to hit 30 years of age towards the end of this season so we can’t get ahead of ourselves as a rapid decline over the next few years could scupper our chances.

Club

Transfers

The main incoming transfer this year was Jérémy Doku arriving for free having previously played for Inter Milan. He came up in my January expiring contracts search last season and I had to go for him even if it was just to sell him straight on for a profit. Anyway, he was playing as a striker for Inter and was usually second behind Kean in the league goalscoring chart over the last few seasons but can play as a left winger and has fantastic attributes for the role so I decided to give him a shot in the team. There’s always the worry that he might score too many goals but we’ll just have to cross that bridge when or if we come to it.

The team lost out in the Italian Super Cup final this season to mess up the clean sweep but they did manage to score a few more league goals than last season as they hit a nice 130. So whilst it’s not quite up into the 140’s like a couple of seasons ago it’s still fantastic. I’ve got Pavón ageing and I feel he needs replacing but there’s certain areas of his attribute spread that I like and I’m having trouble finding a decent replacement ready to come straight into the first team.

Liverpool were defeated 4-1 in the European Super Cup with Kean scoring one of our four goals. We beat New York Red Bulls by a hefty scoreline of 6-0 in the Club World Championship but Kean could only score two of the goals which was slightly annoying as these games offer a great chance of racking up a few goals. As mentioned above we lost out in the Italian Super Cup final as Lazio beat us via the dreaded penalty shoot out after we fought out a 2-2 stalemate. We beat Milan 3-1 in the Italian Cup final but Kean couldn’t find the net which slightly dampens the whole occasion. Bayern were our opponents in the Champions League final and a brace from Moise helped us defeat them 3-0 to continue our record of winning the Champions League every year so far.

International

We won the Confederations Cup with Moise claiming the Golden Boot after scoring a tidy 12 goals throughout the tournament. It was all a bit straightforward really as South Korea were beaten 7-0 in the semi final with Kean netting four of them to set up a tough final against Brazil. You’d think it would be tough anyway but it didn’t seem to turn out that way as we dominated them to take a 5-0 with Kean grabbing himself a hat trick as we won the cup. We are also still in the World Cup going into the next season and Moise scored a total of 34 goals for Italy this year which I’m thrilled with.

Moise Kean

Similar season to the last as Moise hits 101 goals in 60 games in a nice campaign from him. With his goals for Italy added on we get a season total of 135 which is his second highest return to date. He’s 30 years old now so the next few years should see him decline but hopefully it’ll be a slow and steady one.

Conclusion

So things are looking good at the moment for Kean but we need to stay focused as you never know what is around the corner. I remember things looking fantastic with Parrott in my first 1kc only for him to then suffer a long term injury and then want a new challenge which really put the cat amongst the pigeons. Saying that Kean is 30 now so I’d like to think he’s maybe past the wanting a new challenge stage but you never know I guess.

Season Thirteen

The last few seasons since I got my tactic sorted there’s just been no stopping Moise as he’s produced ton plus club goal returns on four of the last five seasons. He’s 30 years old now though so you’d expect that he’ll slow down at some point in the near future but let’s see if there’s any sign of that happening this season.

International

I was made aware of the fact that the international goals counter resets itself after 256 goals by @Rob so I was ready for that and sure enough that was the case as you can see below.

Anyway, Moise ended up hitting 30 goals for Italy this season including 17 during the World Cup where he won the Golden Boot. He went big in the quarter final against France as he found the net four times in a commanding 6-1 win. The semi final wasn’t much different as we beat Tunisia 6-0 with the main man helping himself to three of the goals to set up a final against Columbia. No disrespect to Columbia but we certainly fancied our chances especially with the form we were in but FMM can be a strange game at times so we couldn’t rest on our laurels. It turned out to be much the same as the previous games with Kean hitting three in a 5-0 victory to win the cup again. We also won the International League at the end of the season with Kean hitting three goals across the semi and final to round off a fantastic season for him internationally.

Transfers

A few new faces came in to keep us ticking along. I think we’ve more or less got the next generation of players brought through although I’m still not sure about my long term replacement for Pavón but he’s retiring after this season so we’ll just have to see how it goes next year.

We got back to winning the lot again this season and also scored a hefty 139 league goals in an unbeaten campaign with just the one draw. In the European Super Cup against Spurs my old favourite Troy Parrott opened the scoring for them with a fine goal but unfortunately we dominated from then on in as Kean helped himself to four goals in a 7-1 victory. The scary thing is that the other three goals came from our backup striker Gelmini who replaced Kean at around the 65th minute. We played LA Galaxy in the Club World Championship semi final and Kean scored all five goals in a 5-0 win to set up a final against Gre. The screenshot also shows that he got sent off for LA Galaxy which is one of those onrunning strange bugs. Anyway, the final was ridiculous really with Moise scoring eight goals as we ran out 10-0 winners. So that’s a total of 13 goals across the two Club World Championship games alone. Kean only scored the one goal against Milan in the Italian Super Cup in a comfortable 4-1 victory. He then got back to his great cup final form this season in scoring a hat trick agsinst Inter in a 5-0 victory to win us the Italian Cup again. The Champions League final was against Arsenal and we were the better team and ran out 3-1 winners with Kean ending his club season in style with a nice brace of goals.

Cristian Pavón

This was Pavón’s last season and he now sets off into the sunset to enjoy his retirement. He’s been a truly great player for us and has beaten my previous assist record so I’m putting him forward for the assist challenge. You can see below that all of his assists have been for us so that’s 416 in total which is a total I’m proud of. Moise Kean

Kean had a fantastic season for club in scoring 102 goals in 53 games which is a goal per game ratio of 1.94. I have to say I reckon that those two Club World Championship games before the turn of the year was the main reason for the ton plus return this season and I have a feeling that this will be the last of those but what a season anyway and if you add on his 30 goals for Italy we arrive at a fantastic season total of 132 goals. I also got Kean to sign a new five year deal which prompted him to announce that he’d be retiring at the end of the contract, I then asked him to reconsider at which point he accepted so we have five years left and maybe more if he’ll sign again.

Conclusion

Fabulous season for Kean as he beats my best goal per game ratio in the 100 goal club and now has scored 1405 goals under my management. I’m going to target hitting 1759 goals in tribute to my old username as the 1.5k now seems inevitable even if he were to decline rapidly.

What a fabulous season from him. Even at 30 he seems not to be slowing at all. 1.5K sorted already I believe. 1759? That reminds me of something else ☺️. Great job Ian

Pavon with a truly great career.

I'm guessing his regen is going to be your son?

He's spent more than 10 years, which makes it likely.

Thanks, yes his attributes are fine at this stage but could always decline at any moment so just need to keep going and hope he stays decent for as long as possible. The 1759 is from the old Guinness 1759 adverts years ago.

Brilliant Ian. Destroying it. This is going to be a great score. And well done on the Pavon assists too.

Cheers Rob, it does look like he’s still got a good few goals left in him at this stage. Pavon has been great on this save so it’s pleasing that he’s beaten my previous best for assists.

Thanks, yes my son does indeed come through next season but you’ll have to wait for the next update to see what he’s like.

Crazy crazy hauls. Great job Ian.

Thank you Kane, he has been fantastic. I’m glad I went with Kean and Juventus for this save as I just don’t think my other idea of using Brewster and Liverpool would’ve turned out as good as this.

Cracking work Ian, good luck on Target 1759 and well done with Pavon too 👏

Thanks Mr Tree, much appreciated.

Pavon is a machine.

Splendid season Ian and just another step closer to your goal. Nicely done. 👍

Cheers Woody, he certainly is and I’ve had a lot of trouble trying to find a solid replacement but hopefully we will still do well enough without him next year.

Doing great and you should hit the target next season. Well done.

Thank you, I agree hopefully baring really bad injuries we should hit the original 1.5k target next year.

Great work from the god Pavón.

As for your current target it seems a bit low to me unless his attributes are going to fall off a cliff as he gets older.

Thank you Mr Fox, I know what you mean as he’s really flying and not showing any signs of slowing down but I thought I better just keep the target reasonable for now as I’d rather finish on say 1759 than end up really near to the 2k but just miss out. Just have to see how the next few years go though and I can re-evaluate our target if needed.

He’s showing no signs of stopping mate! Like your target of 1759 and as some others have said he could hit that magic 2k. Best of luck!

Cheers, yeah it has entered my thoughts and if he has another say three biggish returns in him and I can get him to play until he’s about 40 I can see him hitting it but we need the few biggish returns first so we’ll just have to see.

I'm sure you can hit that 2k mark, just keep playing him. If you need to, drag him out of the retirement home and onto the field!

Thanks, yeah we just have to keep going and see where it takes us.

Season Fourteen

Afternoon Vibe,

First things first, my son came through the academy and he looks decent in places and just so happens to go by the name of Junior. I think it’s highly unlikely that I’ll do much with him as this save is all about Moise but I’ll keep him on the books for a few years anyway in proper Steve Bruce style.

Moise Kean

Kean put up his best season to date in my opinion, okay he couldn’t beat last seasons club return but that was largely due to two lucky Club World Championship games where everything went for him. He was much more consistent this season and I think it’s because I’ve now got the next generation of squad players more or less through their youth days and the team behind Kean is now that best it’s ever been I’d say. So anyway Moise hit 102 goals in 58 games and although I said the same last season and was proved wrong, I’ll say it again that I’m pretty sure this will be the last ton plus season. He is showing signs of decline with one or two attributes dropping but we can’t really control that so we just have to hope he holds it together for as long as possible.

International

Moise hit a further 24 goals for Italy this season which brings his total goals for the season up to 126 which is another great return. The Italy team is practically just our Juventus team with just one or two players that play for other clubs. I could put a team out for Italy consisting totally of Juve players and it would still be a truly fine team. We are still in the European Championships going into the new season and here are some of the games where Moise went big.

Transfers

We continued to go for home grown talent as another bunch of promising Italians came in. Our backup striker Gelmini was sold for a huge fee as he was in his prime and I have another younger lad who should be able to do his job okay so thought the money would come in handy.

We went unbeaten in the league with just the two games drawn. We actually didn’t score too many goals in the league this season and I was surprised to see that at the end as it seemed like we’d had some high scoring games but having looked most came in the cup games. Still 123 goals is still a great total.

Kean started the new season off with a nice brace against Manchester City in the European Super Cup. We were the better side even though they scored a couple of goals to make things interesting but at the end the score line read 4-2 to us and we took another cup home with us.

Last season Kean went crazy in the Club World Championship as he scored five in the semi and a whopping eight in the final. He couldn’t match that this season but did help himself to a hat trick in the final against SEP in a commanding 5-0 victory.

The Italian Super Cup looked like it would be a tricky affair against a decent Inter side. It didn’t pan out like that as Kean hit four goals and missed a penalty in a 5-0 hammering.

We continued our high scoring in cup finals this season by beating Roma 6-0 in the Italian Cup final but there were no goals from the main man. If I’m being honest I’m not sure if he played in this game or not but anyway the team did well enough without him if he didn’t.

The Champions League semi final against Spurs was this seasons highlight for Kean as he scored four goals in each leg as the team won 15-1 on aggregate, yes it’s ridiculous but nothing I can do about it. He didn’t stop there and kept another four goals in his locker for the final as we beat Inter Milan 5-0 to end the club season in some style.

Conclusion

Another great season for Moise as he hit 126 goals for club and country. I think next year will surely be the year where he starts to slow down a bit but guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Anyway the original target of 1.5k has now been passed so I’m chuffed with that.
