         1kc Piece Bon(e) China

Yes I'm fasionably late to the table as per and i've decided to have a go at the fabled 1kc.

Credit goes to @Rob for the great title.

I shall be taking this journey over to the far east in China, the land of the rising sun.

 

My club of choice is....

Like most Chinese teams the squad is pants.

I've had my eye on my player of choice for sometime and i thought that China was the perfect scene for him.

Here is the lad i will be using...

Francisco Bonfiglio.

The lad starts the game as a freebie so he was easy to snap up. Yes he doesnt look all that special but he is young and has plenty of room and time to grow.

 

The Season. 2018

I've ripped up the @Rob rule book of transfer dealing in season one and gone mental.

Yeah maybe i over did it but you'll find the Chinese will pay stupid money for mediocre players.

Its tough to get in top quality because we just cant attract them so its mostly 2nd best from the off.

Just the single defeat all season...not too shabby.

Obviously we had a good 1st season which culminated in us being crowned champions.

I'm not interested in smashing the crap out of teams. I just want to enjoy this save with a no pressure policy so if we dont make the 1k its no biggy but i'm hoping we can do something special.

We only competed in one cup competition and we won that but i forgot to snap a picture. 😕

The Man.

Bonfiglio thought it was a good idea to come over to China and sign on the dotted line. I think it was the complimentary crispy duck sweetener that sealed the deal.

Physicals looking better too.

So at the age of 16 Bon managed to grab himself a very reasonable 36 goals in 32 games. Very pleased with that as he got over a goal a game and hopefully that will improve year on year.

We are off then with a nice start but there is a long way to go yet.

Bonfiglio turns into an absolute beast as he grows older,I remember seeing a career thread (can't remember whose) where he was used, and he progressed insanely. Also, more than one goal per game for a 16 year old are very positive stats. Keep it up.

Great start mate, but go steady on the transfers! 😂 I think I'm a wheeler dealer but I've never done that... 😄

I reckon you'll have no trouble with this. I see you've got Pavon, you just need to train up Bonfiglio's heading and Pavon will land the ball on his head all day every day. Gonna crush it in China...

Season Two: 2019.

Bon Bon started his Chinese invasion pretty well in the 1st season and will be looking to improve on that atleast.

A few more signings and outgoings in the hope of having a stronger team.

Still struggling to get the best as work permits and reluctance to sign are a hinderance.

A more eventful season. Im pleased with what silverware we have won this year.

 

The Man.

Bon is starting to look pretty good now just wish his aerial would improve.

He managed to get in more games this season but did that help him improve his tally.

Yes it did! He ammassed an impressive 55 goals. Really pleased as i was hoping for around 40-50.

So there we have it a solid improvement and the squad is starting to get better despite me unanle to get the players i really want 😕

Nice season mate, over a goal per game is very promising for his age. China can be frustrating attracting players or getting WP’s but I remember when my facilities were maxed out I started to get some very good Chinese youth players come through.

Similar to what Smog said, once you get your squad and club grown you’ll be destroying this. Your numbers so far have been a bonus and have been blinkin’ excellent!

Almost 1.2goals per game is pretty impressive for his age. Once the right supporting crew comes in, he'll will be destroying it in no time

SEASON THREE: 2020

Welcome back to my little 1k save. After a brilliant 2nd season and maybe a little overkill on transfers Bonfiglio has been improving nicely in terms of goals and as a player.

I have to admit as the season started i wanted to cool down on the transfers front but......i couldnt help myself.

Now as mentioned earlier i've have been FM'd on a number of occasions this season no worse than that in the 2nd round of the Champions Cup.

The Man.

Bon Bon got a very nice 55 last season so any kind of improvement on that would be nice.

He is starting to improve quite nicely too but his aerial just wont budge at the moment but i'm putting that down to his young age.

He only managed to play in 38 games this year as fitness played it part.

Fortunately BonBon had a fantastic season and smashed home a lovely 68 goals! Get in.
