Sissako is someone whom my assistant told as a world class ability so he was brought in plus my standard transfers of Italians with Gasparini being the no. 2 goalie, Armini and Bastoni as defence strengthening.

We win Euro '25 after defeating Spain in the finals with Zaniolo picking up both Golden Ball and Golden Boot. But the Nations League jinx continued as we lost in the final again to France.

He missed a fair few matches due to injuries and his goal tally came down to only 58 and he added 18 goals internationally to get 76 for the season.

Still going great 👍 

Don’t worry I won’t be getting any more stadiums on this years game as after I’m done with my current stuff I’ll be off to prepare for the release of FMM20. I’ll still be on the forum though so you’ll all have to put up with me 😂

Thanks for your support guys. My initial goal was to achieve 500 by the age of 25 so we are a little short of that target but progression is nice so far. 

One thing which I have observed is the goals have dried up since the winter update. I am using the same tactics which I had used earlier in the Kangin Lee career and while Lee could easily hit 75-80  goals in a club season with Arsenal pre update , Zaniolo is only able to hit 60-65 goals now. 

Initially I thought maybe Serie A is difficult to score but @smoggy90 and @Ian career have suggested otherwise. Still can't find the exact reason for this.

Great progress so far mate, and i was the same with Serie A thinking it would be difficult but the league is actually quite weak, especially the further you get into the career. The only downside is lack of cup games but when you start winning everything and have World Club Cup etc they soon mount up..

I had actually tweaked the formation from the last season as earlier even though Zaniolo was scoring decently, the two IF's were also scoring quite a bit so in order to get Zaniolo to score even more, i pushed down the two IF's to W to leave Zaniolo as the lone man at AM line but even though he had a greater percentage of goals amongst the total goals, the total chances lessened and as a result, total goals lessened and thus Zaniolo's goals also lessened.

So, lesson learnt and as the Father of Strikerless, @Rob says that more team goals mean more goals for your player so i will revert back to my original formation and let's see how that plays on.

Nothing special, just was surprised to see my local city team being represented in the Club World Championship. A nice surprise. Never seen it before.

Just 8 goals internationally but he gives his best season with 67 goals to make it 75. So, the original formation is definitely the way to go. I am glad i reverted back.

Laird and the three Italians, Ferretti, Zamparo and Ancelotti were all sold off to make some profit.

Bombardieri was another Italian regen who could play as either WB as well as IF so he was picked up from rivals Juve. Riccardi is another highly rated Italian midfielder while Fizesan was brought in as a backup in defense as Retsos got injured for a freaking 8 months.

After 10 successive CL wins, we lose the final to Bayern in a heartbreaking way and so i improve my Champions Streak by 1. I will post this in the Champions Streak challenge by the end of this career if this still remains the highest.

Zaniolo getting 45 goals but more important was that, he also got 13 assists, joint top at leaderboard. Wow!!

The CL final was real heartbreaking. Zaniolo hits a fantastic hattrick in the 1st half but Bayern came back through goals from Maycon and Salcedo while Vagnoman put the final nail in the coffin with an own goal. We lost the shootout and our dream of an 11th consecutive CL trophy went out.

Another hugely successful season where Zaniolo got 90 goals. He is following the Sargent blueprint of blooming while aging and so it has now got me excited.

Yes this tactic certainly seems better and the player looks like he’s got a few more great returns in him yet. I think Zaniolo deserves this as a lot of us have really enjoyed using him throughout this years game but rarely as a main man so it’ll be good to have a career to really remember him by.

Thanks mate. Yup, he has been the pick of midfielders this year and so i thought of doing one tribute career for him.

Thanks mate. He just exploded against Uruguay without any reason and that was the most goals he had hit in a single match so far.

He hit 19 intl. goals in addition to 65 for Roma to make it 84 for the season. Another good season i would say.

So, an average of 65 for the next 2 seasons will take us past 1KC and then we will see how long he can carry on. But he has touched 30 now so he can rapidly decline as well.
