Posted November 22, 2019 (edited) Yeah love where your assistant suggests a reserve/youth player to come play a match. Promote for one match only and see how they do. Nice touch. Lots going into youth players and development in fmm20. Loving it. Mentoring too. Can be used to boost mental stats which have been hard to do before. Also makes it worthwhile keeping older players around. I just extended Vorms contract by two years despite the fact he never players as he’s boosting the technique of a young gk I have. Also like the training plateau for most youngsters. Will slow up a 1k no doubt but more realistic to not be totally maxed out by the age of 19/20 apart from the rare absolute world class players. I've done this, brought Zlatan into my united side till the end of his Contact which is 1 year, got him mentoring Greenwood and Haaland. I got Maguire to mentor Tuanzebe to be better in the air which has turned him into a beast on corners and set pieces. He's scored 3 times in the first month all on set pieces. Posted November 22, 2019 Love this... Player Personal page said he wanted to leave to fulfil his potential. When you go to talk to player there’s a clear box (neither red or green) they says talk about player wanting to leave. obviously I went for intimidate 😂 Happy to stay now and respects me! 0 Quote Report Share

Was just trying it out I just find it a very odd decision and poorly worded in general but especially with how PC SI usually are. The news is full of players struggling with mental illness and the like in recent years then SI basically give a bullying option, it's bizarre. @Alari 0 Quote Report Share

Just leaving it running on that screen and eventually it'll kick into gear, that freeze is like it's updating in the back ground, just leave it running and you'll get to the main menu. 1 Quote Report Share

Posted November 24, 2019 Tried a short career and got a massive migraine. Purple and cyan is really too much. Not a fan of the 'Yes'/'No' switching either. Although the new mentoring, 'added statistics' and even GK fatigue are interesting, some of the interface changes have made it less fun. 0 Quote Report Share

Yeah, I still struggle with the Yes/No and the interface changes. Some of the screens seem harder to understand quickly. Even simple things like seeing who has the assists in the detailed screen during a game - it has it's own column now instead of being in brackets, but even though it would seem like that's a good idea, there are too many columns and its harder for me to work out which one is the right one. It's too busy now. That's just one eg - there are other areas where I find things harder to use. I guess I'll get used to them eventually, but it's a pain. That said, I think there are too many things I like about it, that I'd find going back to FMM19 pretty difficult. I think my favourite thing is seeing the effect on player morale from a lot of different angles (expectations for the upcoming game, another player getting injured, performance in the game, etc). I'm sure a lot of that was in there already and now they are just surfacing that, but it feels far more complex and realistic than before. 1 Quote Report Share

I quite like the morale changes, when your star player gets injured it tells you how many other players aren't happy about the injury. I also like the interactions you can have with players, I cant seem to find it now but I'm sure when I was having issues with a player I had the option to threaten them it gave me a grey option with extra interactions. Left the player reporting that he didnt like my actions, I cant find it I'm sure it was there, can anyone confirm? 0 Quote Report Share

I'm loving the new interactions and morale changes because the players feel much more like humans now lol. But some of the graphical changes seem rather counterproductive. I understand they need to keep things fresh once in a while but it feels more like a downgrade. Removing the brackets in the stats page and overloading it with columns probably wasn't the best idea, as it's harder to read than ever. And the new match ball colours I find is a bit difficult to follow. Another thing I hope they tweak is the timing of the giant yellow/red card display, which is instantaneous the moment the foul's committed. Like the VAR in last year's game, you can see the outcome before the ref can even brandish the card. 1 Quote Report Share

Posted November 24, 2019 Purple and light blue was certainly an "interesting" suggestion and decision from the concerned departments! It's taken a while to get into it, for sure, and I'm still not in full-addiction mode by any means, but slowly getting used to it... 0 Quote Report Share

I usually play on an old iPhone 6s and tbh it is starting to get to the stage where I can just sit, do nothing on the phone and watch the percentage just count down. The last iOS update has really knocked it back further but it’s still going and I’m determined to keep it going as long as possible 😂 2 Quote Report Share

I was considering whether to upgrade prior to the new game's release but she's still doing me proud... 1 Quote Report Share
Posted November 24, 2019 Anyone knows how these fan favourites were counted? I got Azpilicueta as dan favourite despite not my best player. Is it based on experience or performance? Since Wind is not a fan favourite somehow on my career 0 Quote Report Share

You know like those people who always interact with the fans, act profesional and make them happy. These guys aren’t always the best player. Look at Bayern where Lewandowksi is their best player but they love Muller cos he’s funny and always has time to interact with the Bavarians 2 Quote Report Share
