Off Topic Does results the real thing that fans wanted?

Hey guys,

In the world of football lots of people think that results are the only thing matter but is that a true or just some mentality that non-football fan thought?

Lets look on current situation here:

Chelsea currently under Frank Lampard are having their worst start since Roman Abramovic era but why is Chelsea fan aren't feeling any anger or disappointment? Simple! Firstly, they are enjoying watching one of their club legend who is also their all time goalscorer. This could show how much Chelsea has grown into a big and bigger club. Another reason is Lampard doing something that most fan had dreamed of all this years, get the most out of their youngster. Lampard even brought excitement by playing direct attacking strategy unlike Jose and Conte who used ultra defensive or Sarri boring slow build up.

This isn't the only case here. Man United finished second below Man City by 19 points and became one of the two teams that defeated them in the league but why does the fans wanted Jose to go out? Jose basically kills Man United background by using his park the bus at United that had familiarize with Fergusson attack attack attack tactic.

Other example are FC Barcelona under Valverde. Well no need much explaination here. Dembele, Coutinho and Semedo transfer for massive amount of money and lack of contribution. Also his tactic that just work because of bigger names like Messi, Suarez and Ter Stegen doing tons of job are just pointless. Some even belief that with or without Valverde is just the same

This could conclude that youth development, manager appointment, style of play and transfers does more job than the results

As a United fan I’d do anything for a result right now! But yeah, with Fergie we were spoilt and had mostly everything to brag about. Trophies, results v rivals for the bragging rights, great style of play, youth brought through, best manager of all time there 

Ever since, we weren’t expecting it before but Moyes lowered the standards so much, and Ole is lowering them now, that what satisfied me as a fan became different. Mourinho’s football wasn’t exciting at all, but he did win us trophies, and was the closest to bringing United back where we belong out of all the 4 managers we’ve had since

Apart from the disaster 3rd season, I’m happy with what he did for United. But if Fergie had a few seasons with 6th, 2nd and a Europa League in his era, it wouldn’t be great. It’s all about expectations

I don't agree. Results always matter, if not you wouldn't invest tons of money to win trophys.
Of course Man Utd were angry with Jose. Poor football and didn't won the league. They're used to win most of times with Alex Ferguson. 

Chelsea on other hand can't even buy players, so expectations are low. Fans know that the club aren't capable of big things this season.

Valverde got knocked out of champions league two times in a row in ridiculous ways. Any Barcelona fan should be angry as they want to win it all and catch Real in terms of international trophys.

Jose finishing 4th with his squad back then are already miracle but he finished wnd and fans couldn't appriciate that because of his boring football. I wouldn't blame him for not winning as his predscessor just gave him tons of deadwood in the team

Chelsea of course couldn't buy anyone but they still have the older guy like Giroud, Pedro and even Kante who won them trophies in the past years instead Lampard choose to play Jorginho, Kovacic and Mount ahead of Kante

Valverde simple just won matches because of Ter Stegen and Messi. He just not a manager for top division
