Thanks big everyone for the bets and comments, we survived, barely at times, but eventually with a handsome chunk of chips in the bank. Was tremendous fun I have to say and perhaps we'll add one more season to this career doing some gambling in the EPL with Michael - terrrible-shooting-stat Gamble 😂

Let's not waste any more time and add another season to this madness. This time we're not betting pocket money in the Championship. No. This time we're betting truckloads in the best league on the planet, the EPL. With the very same East-London team; Millwall and the very same player; Michael Gamble. We simply continue where we left off.. 

Michael Gamble: £3,883

• Bets: 30
• Wins: 13

New league, couple new rules:

• Min. Bet: £1 
• Max. Bet: £-

Odds:

• 2 to 1 (Even, Red, Black, Odd)
• 5 to 1 (Circle, Square, Triangle, Star, Diamond)
• 9 to 1 (Row1, Row2, Row3 etc)
• Request a Bet (you name it, I make the odds)

 

The problem I'm foreseeing with having Michael Gamble as my leading man up front is that his 9-Decisions and 10-Shooting might cause a bit of an issue in the EPL, so I've decided to change a couple of things for our extended challenge:

1. Max. bet needs increasing from £1,000 to ALL IN. (as in no max, as in we're able to end this in a split second) 
2. No more 1 bet per game. Mr Gamble is money-hungry so we're doing multiple bets per game if applicable. However many goals he scores per game that's the amount of bets we're doing as prioritized on our pending-bets list. 

 

Pending bets:

1. Gunners Rishi: £200 on Row4
2. Req. Bet - Nucleus: £500 on Gamble scoring first, Millwall win, score 2-1 (20 to 1) 
3. Req. Bet - Lord Danish: £666 on Millwall scoring vs Man Utd (1 to 2)
4. Ian: £500 on Square
5. Foxy: £1,500 on Red
6. Lord Danish: £1,000 on Odd
7. smoggy90: £1,000 on Star
8. Req Bet - Ian: £150 on Gamble scoring hat-trick before Jan 2 (7 to 1)

 

Note: if anyone wants their bets changed, let me know and I'll update before I kick things off. And remember, this challenge continues so long as Mr. Gamble's got quid to spent. No quid, game over. Doesn't mean we aren't allowed to gamble big tho 😉 😉

Wow, tough one here as well. The problem I'm having atm is this.. 

Right here. Gamble is the problem 😂 

He's simply missing many many chances, so I'm trying to balance between having him up front and creating lots for him to waste yet be careful to not lose games and get the sack. So juggling between 1-2-3 striker formations to still get results as well as Gamble's name on the scoreboard is a challenge. 

Having that said, till Jan. is a long time, say 20-25 games (cups, injuries..) but scoring a hat-trick? Really can't see that happening unless a couple penalties. But like I said, half a season to accomplish it. Tough to rate the difficulty. How about odds 7 to 1 ?

This is the 11th league game (incl League Cup maybe 12th or 13th game) so I don't mind if you get a second bet in as I see this more as a side bet, which will stand until that game pops up. 

Also, just scoring and not necessarily winning or having Gamble to score is quite likely to happen hence the 1 to 2 odds I noted, in case you're wondering, so potentially winning half your bet.

Yeah he doesn’t look quite up to the required standard really so whilst I will go for the bet I’ll not go overboard on the stake.

Let's get this underway.. 

So Michael Gamble and Millwall got themselves promoted finishing 2nd behind Championship champs Leeds. We're now trying our luck against much fiercer opposition in the EPL. I used every single transfer penny for much needed squad reinforcements. In particular a GK, CD, ML and 2 FCs (the latter mainly to give us more options formation-wise). I'm quite happy with the 11 starters but not with the overall depth of the squad. That's all our budget allowed for so we'll try to make the most of our possibilities for Mr Gamble.
