Traditionally Ballon D'Or, awarded to the best player in the world has been dominated by the football powerhouses like Brazil, Argentina, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Netherlands, England and even Russia. But sometimes there emerges some player who take the world of football by storm and in doing so, brings limelight to their nation who had previously been just a footnote in the history. They were:

1962 - Josef Masopust (Czech Republic)

1964 - Denis Law (Scotland)

1967 - Florian Albert (Hungary)

1968 - George Best (Northern Ireland)

1977 - Allan Simonsen (Denmark)

1994 - Hristo Stoichkov (Bulgaria)

1995 - George Weah (Liberia)

2003 - Pavel Nedved (Czech Republic)

2004 - Andriy Shevchenko (Ukraine)

So, what has this got to do with the challenge??

Well, here is the setup:

RULES

1. Load up any country and take charge of any club.

2. You must try to sign players from the above mentioned countries and get them to win the Ballon d'Or.

3.  You can stop once you have managed to get all the nations to win the Ballon d'Or (with the exception of Liberia which i don't think there are any players) or you have crossed 30 years of your career or you have got frustrated and stopped this challenge.

4. The leaderboard will be on the basis of most Ballon d'Or won and as mentioned above, you can cut short this challenge. Then the no. of nations that has won the Ballon d'Or till then will be your score and multiple wins from single country count as 1 only. So, if your Czech Rep. striker wins it 3 years in a row, still it will count as 1. So, the maximum score one can earn is 8. In case of Liberia,Timothy Weah can be chosen.

5.  No reloading, IGE etc.

6. Post a career for us to follow or atleast share screenshots to prove that he was under your management when he won the award.

7. Most importantly, have a blast.
