General question, Will the Mobile version of the game be released on Amazon's App store.

I know the previous version was. If so can you play the game on a Amazon Kindle.

Unfortunately we've discontinued for the Amazon store.

Will Android running on Fire devices be supported if any issues occur or is it buyer beware?

I personally use an Amazon, but have Google Play on there and its where I got FMM from.  More games and apps, its just better overall

I'm the same, I agree. I'm just concerned if running the game by "unofficial" means will lead to unsupported issues.

From what I've played so far, its the same.  The OS on Amazon is just an edited Android so it should be alright

Yeah I don't see many issues but it is a concern, especially for a game with as many issues as FMM, and the fact they swept this announcement under the rug leads me to believe it'll be pretty safe or a complete disaster lol. I just don't want to report issues then be told tough shit as it's unofficial. I've not had issues with any other Google Play games tbf but they're typically more stable to begin with.

Sorry for lack of reply - it's just hard for us to give an official comment on stuff that is untested, and would not be appropriate for us to test.

Yeah that's understandable and the response I expected, it does make me a tad hesitant though. Thanks anyway @Alari

Out of interest can I request why it was canned? Obviously I can assume the sales weren't there to justify it by its cancellation and the lack of reaction to the news, but it's rubbed me the wrong way. Not announcing it ahead of time and letting fans discover this blow on release day was very poor, at this point FMM is where it is on brand loyalty and trust which I feel was extremely lacking in the handling of this situation. I know your hype window is short and you don't want bad press but this was a low blow.

Secondly I'm a tad miffed that development for Fire devices has stopped considering we've understood for years that FMM is slightly held back to make it playable across as many devices as possible, to reach that mass market and to be played by as many fans as possible, the OME still existing is testament to that. Yet you've stopped developing for an entry level tablet that by all accounts is decent for the price, the competition costs way over three times more than Fire devices and it just makes the mind boggle. Are the porting costs really that high? Is the demand really that low? Are most Fire users getting the Android version regardless? Is the "mass market/playable on as many devices as possible" line just a smoke screen to allow baby steps year on year? I have so many questions, of all the disappointing aspects I imagined 2020 could have dropping a platform was never even considered, especially as you basically pulled the wool over our eyes by not announcing it. If it was announced on some channel which I didn't see obviously I apologise but there have been plenty of opportunities to make it common knowledge here.

Judging by the fact the Amazon OS is an edited Android, they should be the same.

I agree though, as one of the cheapest tablets on the market, seems a bit odd.

It's all very intriguing yet very annoying lol.

The demand was too low to justify the development and testing time that went into it - that's the only factor in play. If we were able to sell via the Amazon store no non-Fire devices it could be a different story but there are some technical reasons that make this unfeasible at present.

Sorry guys I am not technical at all!!

My other half loves this game and his current tablet has broken. If I buy him an amazon fire - will he be able to play this game? I think this will be the sole use of the tablet so don’t want to buy an amazon fire if it won’t work but also don’t want to spend heaps on an iPad etc when he will only use for football manager!!

thanks!

Not officially no, however it is possible to "hack" Fire tablets to run normal Android with loads of guides available online. Getting it to run via Android/Google Play Store is possible but as this thread covers it's basically an unsupported product so any issues and you're out of luck.

This is my work game of war casino - nice game

These yearly tandem releases offer similar yet separate gameplay mechanics. The Mobile title exists as a tweaked mobile version themed after the PC and console experience, and the Touch version is a slimmed-down affair that's a little more suitable for play on tablets and quick sessions. Both of these titles require an upfront payment, much like a premium release, though in-app purchases are still included.
