Besart Berisha (born 29 July 1985) is a Kosovan professional footballer who plays as a forward for Australian club Western United. With 117 goals (48 for Brisbane, 68 for Melbourne and one for Western United), he is the Australian A-League's all-time leading goalscorer.

He joined Brisbane Roar in the 2011-12 season and thus began his tryst with A-League. He has won the A-League Premiership twice, one each with Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory while the A-League Championship has been picked up 4 times, also equally divided between the two teams. He also won two Golden Boots, once each for the two teams again and he also holds the record for the fastest A-League hattrick, when he registered one under 6 minutes for Brisbane Roar against Adelaide Utd on 28th October 2011.

SEASON 1

Fairly unsuccessful season for the team finishing in 9th place but Berisha chipped in with 16 goals, all in the league as we weren't in any cups during the 19/20 season.

 

SEASON 2

Great season for Berisha contributing with 27 goals on the way to cup semi final and a 6th place finish.

 

SEASON 3

Only 4 goals this season as he dropped down the pecking order to become 4th/5th choice striker. We did however win the league.

 

SEASON 4

There is no season 4 for Berisha. He has retired. 47 goals in his final 3 seasons isn't the best but also isn't terrible as i did it without buying a single player relying on free agents and the loan market.
