Great stuff, Smogster. Injuries, missed penalties, all just futile career killers that can't stop great managers 😉

Congrats on passing the 1000 goal mark, 1500 should be not far away, KIU!

Still a great season considering the injury blows mate, kiu 😉

Congrats on 1000 mate. You can get the TT, have faith in you. 😀

Thanks all. If i can get another couple of good seasons in (120ish) then i will feel confident.

They will start to digress soon but then again they are pretty poor anyway so it might not too much of a fall in attributes. We shall see.

Seasons 12 and 13

Double update on this career and we head into the final (hopefully) few seasons.

There's no point showing transfers as we are well into regen territory now.

Club Results

Clean sweeps both seasons with the CL finals being particular highlights.

Bermuda

Bermuda is a real challenge but also quite fun.

We finished season 12 during the Gold Cup which we did really well to get out of the group but lost in the quarters to the USA.

IMG_0548.thumb.PNG.04acadada63d05bf7b0819ab40f42a01.PNG

Season 13 started with a friendly against Nicaragua which produced my best single performance from one of my Bermudans with a 5 goal haul from Pearman including a 7 minute hat trick.

IMG_0550.thumb.PNG.e1a6861c529253f3a56114486c42f000.PNG

We also qualified for the North American Nations league which we managed to finish a creditable 3rd.

All in a very successful time with the national team and we are currently sat 115th in the world rankings. It would be nice to break that top 100 but time may be against us.

In total my trio scored 46 international goals over these two seasons.

Players

This is how our guys are looking at the end of season 13. They are now hitting their 30's but have new contracts for another 5 years so plenty of time. No real regression apart from after bad injuries. Like i have mentioned before they have always been poor players so maybe their attributes won't decrease too much too quickly but we will see.

IMG_0580.thumb.PNG.cce36bf8a5cdb2ea96b055bd65f25781.PNG

Another bad injury for Talbot this time, although it was before the start of the season so didn't miss too many games.

IMG_0549.thumb.PNG.c7961d082f1b5f1a890a768d07517dc8.PNG

This is how they got on goals-wise for the previous two seasons.

In summary, 224 goals over the last two season leaves us 197 short of our target. Can we finish in two more seasons? A bit of luck with injuries then it could be possible. If we do make it then it the international goals will have been crucial, i don't think i could do this just based on club goals.

I've never really been big on ITN management altho I've done some entertaining ITN careers over the years. Very few in comparison tho, but this one's giving me a few ideas for what may come.

Season 14

Closing in on our target now and this was a big season as we had the World Club Cup at the end and Bermuda had World Cup qualifiers followed by the Gold Cup. That meant 64 club games to go at plus internationals and it resulted in one of our best seasons yet.

First up our season summary, we lost in one of the cup finals and our of the WCC quarters.

IMG_0625.thumb.PNG.ba258c6cd17cceefe5033d89f8e59537.PNG

I thought we were going out of the CL after a semi final first leg 3-0 defeat by Real Madrid, only to turn it around and nab a 93rd minute winner to win the second leg 6-2!

IMG_0623.thumb.PNG.d307555a37806575344ac0e4beee1f41.PNG

The final was a lot more comfortable.

Manager Profile;

For Bermuda we got through two-legged World Cup qualifier against Guatemala which pitted us in a group with Honduras, T&T and Mexico. We made a solid start here with a win and a draw.

We then have the Gold Cup starting when i tap over for the new season.

Our trio scored 18 INT goals between them this season.

IMG_0627.thumb.PNG.7c88a91e74d3ed0efced2174dcf7f211.PNG

This is how are guys are shaping up now they're in their early 30's. A few attributes decreasing.

IMG_0628.thumb.PNG.cfc3d2f85bc4611d33bd36bced667a2c.PNG

As you can see we lost Minors to a few injuries as he only managed 46/64 games whilst the other guys managed a reasonable 53/64. Between them they managed to score a very nice 98 club goals! With their INT goals this was 116 for the season, a great return at this stage.

IMG_0629.thumb.PNG.7176ab7a21e353c7b56e9d8302c8f91f.PNG

We are now on 1419 goals and just 81 off our target, so barring any disasters my next update for season 15 should see the completion of this challenge! I have enjoyed Portugal and these 3 unlikely goalscorers but i am certainly looking forward to a fresh adventure now.

Would be awesome to see all of them get a longterm injury. Say 10 months 😂

Anything for a good few minutes of fun. Goodluck defying that, O'Smog.

Thanks again for the comments @Kanegan @Mr Tree and @BatiGoal

Season 15

We started this season needing 81 more goals to complete this triple threat attempt, and barring any terrible injuries (thanks BG 😂) it shouldn't be a problem.

Before i start on our club season i will round up the news for the Bermuda national team.

We had an up and down qualification stage for the 2034 World Cup but managed to qualify again which was a massive achievement.

IMG_0655.thumb.PNG.3edcc66aaad0f002b6df086ddeed1e0e.PNG

IMG_0654.thumb.PNG.d75dfd0d8b1aef65f7536368cf20f522.PNG

We were drawn with England and Peru so i thought we had a chance of winning a game against Peru and a sniff of the next round.

IMG_0657.thumb.PNG.e8fac47d6bbd102a7f357ac688d00299.PNG

Sadly it wasn't to be as we drew 4-4 with Peru and got spanked by England so our World Cup was over after just two games. However the FA were very happy just to be represented at the tournament.

IMG_0673.thumb.PNG.0fc4aa57d52a3aab5c6507a5b5dd5fd0.PNG

Whilst we are on the subject of international football this game was worth a screenshot for a record 3 penalty misses in the same game from our man Pearman. I swear he has missed 100 penalties in this career! (maybe a slight exaggeration).

IMG_0656.thumb.PNG.5760654ce08a7a6998b13e26759d53a6.PNG

On the domestic front we were victorious in all but one competition.

IMG_0681.thumb.PNG.532825a58882ab71be794b43289a357e.PNG

Fittingly in the CL final each of our Bermudans got on the score sheet.

IMG_0672.thumb.PNG.07c65018604251c21eb218aaf4c3c8a3.PNG

Thankfully there were no major injuries to report and our guys hit 84 club goals taking us to a total of 1503 goals! Add onto that the 23 international goals this season and we end up with 107 in total for the season and a grand total of 1526 goals in 15 seasons!

IMG_0687.thumb.PNG.1b8b5dcef267237bea94b6f4502581b1.PNG

IMG_0685.thumb.PNG.3e33eb5ec232ebe7ede7b491134eea4f.PNG

IMG_0683.thumb.PNG.98cd2ed49296acfb006fd1b59cd8774e.PNG

This is how our guys look in the summer of 2034. Not too shabby really and i would say capable of hitting similar figures for a few more seasons to come as they are all contracted up to 2037.

IMG_0686.thumb.PNG.ffa885cd9cff9c088b8dc007f1c82fd8.PNG

IMG_0684.thumb.PNG.49921cafc193fcf2f94b3dd3f63caa24.PNG

IMG_0682.thumb.PNG.1a2982dae6ceb5d2ec26536c1c52b9f0.PNG

However this is where this career ends.  It has been fun and i'm happy to get these guys to this figure but it has certainly been a grind at times!  It was also enjoyable taking a lower league team to the top as an extra challenge and motivation.  These are our final figures;

  • Khomeini Talbot - 351 club goals - 164 club assists - 48 international goals
  • Shaki Pearman - 560 club goals - 154 club assists - 71 international goals
  • Landro Minors - 440 club goals - 150 club assists - 56 international goals

@Foxy could you please add these guys to the triple threat leader-board?  Thank you.

Here is a list of their achievements which aren't bad for some amateurs from Bermuda, and my manager profile.

Having grown quite attached to these 3 guys i did a bit of research to see where they were currently at with their careers and found the Royal Gazette from Bermuda to be a good source of information.

This is an article from 2nd March which shows our man Khomeini Talbot coming on as an 86th minute sub for X Roads in a big 10-1 win for them.

http://www.royalgazette.com/soccer/article/20200302/thompson-puts-boulevard-to-sword

Shaki Pearman features in this article from 24th Feb. He came on as a 62nd minute sub and scored a consolation goal as his team Devonshire Cougars lost 5-2 to Dandy Town. He started the game (FMM) at Boulevard Blazers so must've transferred at some point.

http://www.royalgazette.com/soccer/article/20200224/darrell-inspires-five-star-town

Sadly nothing on Landro Minors apart from a cricketer who died back in 2011! I don't know where he is currently at with his footballing journey.

During the 'lag' parts of this career i have made starts (2-3 seasons in) to a potential 1.5-2k attempt and a strikerless 1k attempt so i will go back to one of those and decide which one to pursue and post - or maybe i will do both and flick between the two.

In the meantime thanks to everyone who commented on this career, much appreciated, these minnows from Bermuda have done me proud.
