Career Mason Greenwood 1k challenge

Hello everyone and welcome to my second 1k attempt. After my very unsuccessful first attempt with troy parrott in the premier league, I decided to have another go, so I went away, tested a new tactic and picked a player. So here we go.

I'm happy with my transfer activity this season. A brand new front line focused on setting up goals instead of scoring them should help Mason bang in the goals this season. Oblak should help tighten up the back.

 

Tactics

A more attacking formation this time, with wingers instead of IFs. We will be hitting early crosses and shooting on site, and playing attacking football.

The goal this season is to win everything (tbf  PSG so thats not really a goal but a given) with the champions league being the only real challenge. 

The goal for Mason Greenwood is 40 goals this season (maybe a bit ambitious but definitely doable)

 

With this update coming at the end of the first transfer window a few games have already been played, let's have a look at how life in Paris is going for him.

So as you can see a fantastic start, scoring in every game and already hitting 7 (only 1 goal away from what I got with troy parrott in his first season) and looking at current form maybe 40 goals is not ambitious enough.

Yea, he was until a injure disrupted his season

2019/2020 season review 

So at the beginning of the season I set the goal of 40 goals for the first season. So let's jump straight in and see how masons done this season

Not to bad for a 18 year old in his first season, and I believe he would have scored 40 if it wasnt for that injury, he missed 8-10 games threw that. next season his goal will be 40 goals again tho I fell if he is injury free and The tweaks I have planned pay off 50 goals is possible.

So three trophy this season, not bad and would have been 4 if it wasnt for injuries, honestly they have hurt me this season. Way to many draws this season so that will need improving next season and that champions league defeat was just humiliating.

 

So next seasons goals are 

40 goals for Mason

Not getting humiliated in the champions league again

Convert most of those draws to wins

And win everything in France 

Masons total 33/1000

967 goals to go

So that's all for this update, fell like this is a good start and deffo better that my last attempt (double what troy parrott scored in nearly 2 seasons) until the next update goodbye and enjoy your nights.

Greenwood would have without his injury and I've set the team up to provide more for him and not score themselves, altho I still would have liked a few more team goals aswell
