Chat Coaches

Forgive my possibly stupid question but does having more attacking coaches on my staff increase the chances of my attacking players improving? I always have the following coaches - Attacking, defending, fitness, and goalkeeping. I am also a coach with my speciality being 'general'. I'm wondering if I sacrifice maybe my fitness coach and add another attacking coach, will the fitness of players not improve as much but attacking attributes go up more, or quicker?

Has anyone tested this?

Yes, I remember @Ian had some stuff about this last year - think he was getting good results from using lots of fitness coaches. I have an experiment planned for later in the season... We'll see how that goes, but won't be for a while yet...

Yeah last year having three fitness coaches really boasted the players physical attributes after a few seasons but I don’t think it does this year or at least nowhere near to the extent it did last.

Not totally sure whether I’m right or not but it seems coaches have a very small effect on improving the players attributes depending on their specification and because the effect is seemingly small you hardly have to worry if you say haven’t got a defensive coach as your defenders will still improve anyway. It makes it easy to just try things like having all attacking coaches and stuff like that which I may well try myself.

As for me, I do start with sky bet championship teams, Am a general coach but i hire two fitness, one attacking and one defensive/motivational, meanwhile, i get a young cheap goalkeeper that has: 14-20aerial, 15-20 agility and 15-20 reflexes(e.g josip posavec), train the g.k on aerial( because most atimes, their aerial is blue but u have to make it green).... I feel that fitness coaches are probably the best coaches, they can result to consistency in players. Without fitness, wonderkids won't be world class.
