Chat What the hell does this mean?

I'm sorry I cant change the prefix from chat, but I came across this with van dijk, what exactly does it mean? How do I give him improved specialist coaching/more focused training ? Is a it a gold defending coach? Or do I need to do something else with him?

I had that before during a test season. Just add another defensive coach and that message should go away.

Trouble is then the message could appear on a striker or midfielder so you just go round in circles!

Best thing to do is ignore those positives and negatives

I tried but I have OCD and its unreal how much its bugging me, especially the spelling error. Makes me want to pull my hair out, the same with some players been unable to be trained in certain positions. I'm torpedoing to baldness at an alarming rate lol

I'll ask what is probably an obvious question, but hasn't been mentioned yet: Are all your coaches Gold level? Normally when I get this message it's because I have some on Silver, etc.

If they are all on Gold Level, then you could check if they are all Natural - not sure how important that is (ie whether it affects their actually coaching ability or if it just affects how likely they are to get the next badge), but it might have an effect.

If they are all Gold Natural and you have a Defensive Coach (which you do), then.... Well, this is a total long shot, but a few years back I learned that all the staff have a CA and a PA. At that point I was pretty sure it wasn't used. Maybe it is used now and your Gold coaches aren't as good as they should be. If that's the case then there is no way to tell staff CA, but maybe hire some coaches from big clubs (as they are more likely to be better). But this is a total long shot - I don't think those are used...

Yeah I read that too, I'm sure in one of the old iscouts you could even search through coaches by their ability. But all are gold, not all are natural though, going to try bringing in another gold natural defence coach and see if that helps. After the next update though.

Yeah, you could. I'm working on a similar app, but I chose (so far) to leave staff out of it as I didn't see any point - but if staff CA/PA actually affects things, I may need to rethink that...
