Tactics Miles’ Manchester United Created Tactic

Hello 

I have been a lifelong football manager mobile fan and for the first time I put together my own tactics.I wrote this down on paper with certain instructions for each players. I came up with these tactics as if I was just pretending to be a proper manager. So then I used 4-3-3 and made my own tweaks. I used FM20 to test them out and now here’s how to make this tactic effective and which players to use. Before you apply these tactics please read the full thing

 

Centre Backs - The Tactics played in this formation requires pacey CB’s as I used Manchester United I noticed maguire was not good enough in my first season even though we won the league he was too slow and mistakes came from him. When using these tactics make sure your centre backs are ball playing defenders and are good with their feet. In the next season I signed dayo upamecano who was so much better when I put him next to lindelof. I noticed in that lindelof was not as good in the air because most of the goals conceded were set pieces or corners 

Wing backs- make sure your wing backs can cross a ball and get assists. For example I started with wan bissaka and then I ended dropping him as I was getting a enough going forward so I dropped him for Dalot who got 11 assists in compared to wan bissaka 6 assists.i dropped luke Shaw for the same reason i dropped wan bissaka. Brandon Williams got more assists than Luke but he couldn’t play the whole season as he’s young and needed rest. So I bought Alex telles who also got the job done in my first season. In the second season I sold luke Shaw and brought in Ben chilwell who was even better than Alex telles 
 

Defensive Midfielder - This person is the backbone. He will guide your team out of pressing areas. I bought ndidi who was so consistent game after game.This player needs to be able to find the other midfielders. Occasionally I Played him as a deep lying playmaker which worked well and when were 1 nil or 2 nil up against a good team I wanted him to sit back which he done well I done this by switching the role from deep lying to defensive midfielder. I  signed Ruben neves because of the stats he had and he delivered well. Do consider signing him

Wingers- My wing backs were successful because I played my wingers as inside forwards so they would cut in and the release the ball or run at the opposition defence this often exposed the opponents full backs as it created space for my wing backs to overlap which was mostly where the assists were coming from. With the inside forwards make sure that if the player is a right footed inside forward he should play LW this small tweak made Rashford so successful on the left but when I put jack grealish on the right he struggled as he couldn’t cut in with his preferred foot. I solved that issue by signing Leon Bailey who finished as the most assists in the premier league when dropping jack grealish

Centre Mids (Box to Box- this is another vital part of the tactic making sure ur centre kids can attack and defend is important. I would prefer all 11 players to defend compactly. I sold pogba because of he really wanted to leave and I got James Maddison and Bruno Fernandes who well but Maddison got injured for 4 months so make sure you have got a decent backup for squad depth 

striker- To make this tactic good for your striker make sure he can complete forward role. When I played martial he did finish the league top score with 26 goals but there were some games his rating was a 6 due to lack of involvement in some of the goals he was scored. In the second season he done so much better scoring 38 goals this happened because of the inside forwards and wing backs and my box to box midfielders all supporting him 

 

Final Say- This is a good tactic but it must be used withe teams with an attacking philosophy don’t use this with teams such as wolves, Leicester as it doesn’t suit it. I went the whole season unbeaten with this tactic so it should be good. With the tactic I recommend that you should have quality players in order to make this work.i done much better in my second season take a look at the stats from my second season

So I finished the season with a different lineup I signed Leon bailey, Bruno Fernandes, Ben chilwell,Dayot upamecano, James Maddison and Ruben neves and I got good results. If ur getting countered switch the the role of the dm from deep lying playmaker to defensive midfielder

That's brilliant mate so all you changed was a few personal and changed to DM when getting countered that's it

Yes pretty much also rest players to avoid injuries and get the best out of the teams

Currently testing with Sassuolo. Might become a two season test because they don't have a lot of money to bring players in to fit all the roles, and they have so many loaned out (that you can't recall) that it's difficult to sell anyone to generate some funds.
