I'd much rather have the developers spend their time perfecting the engine and tactics than this nonsense. Granted, media as well as player interactions play a huge part of football management in real life, but it's imo one of the things that is absolutely unnecessary to try and implement into a sim game. Generic Q&A's makes it actually feel less realistic and more robotic due to it being incredibly mundane, repetitive and so predictable. I say trash the entire interaction silliness, leave that for RPGs, should have no place in a football sim.

not exactly a bug but i wish they'd do like real life (mind you, i don't know that it still works this way, having not been in the English lower leagues for soooooooooo long - maybe @Foxyor @samhardycan confirm how it works for Oxford, Sunderland and their ilk...), but if you get three internationals (incl U21), your match gets postponed. not in the game, however

I wouldn’t know as we don’t have enough internationals in our squad but it is the case that you can ask for a postponement if you have three or more players called up to a senior or U21 squad.

At ogc nice, i see also gym. Why that name on the game? I see it when i play matches. But on the standing list you see ogc nice.

That’s the clubs name. Olympique Gymnaste Club Nice so GYM fits the three/four letter abbreviation. Their nickname is also le Gym. 
 

People should stop posting things like this on the bugs list when it clearly isn’t a bug. It’s hard enough for the devs to track bugs.

My transfer budget is $352 million.  I want to buy Kylian Mbappe.  It won't let me offer more than $225 million.  He's valued at $193 million.  It also won't let me give more that 50% sell on percentage, but I understand that.  When I make the offer ($225m + 50%), PSG said they would sell, but I'd have to offer more.  Which they won't let me.

You need to go into club finances and adjust your budgets. Play around with the slider between transfer funds and wages until you get the right balance. 

Failing that, your board won’t allow that kind of money to be spent on a single player.

For some reason £225 million is the max you can offer for a player. I've never had a bid for that much rejected though. Maybe as you're in dollars its equating to less? Can you change currency to £ and try?

Actually I'm in pounds sterling.  I'm on an American keyboard.  Good point.  I think you should be able to offer more.  Google says Mbappe's worth ~300m.  And with up/down arrows, it's not like you could "fat-finger"

Having a big similar to the one where the contract negotiations are skipped. Here, the contract negotiations are skipped, but pressing "finalise deal" doesn't have any effect. As of now, I am unable to sign players. This picture is of after I press "finalise deal"

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but I believe I've found another bug. 2 separate youth players, whenever I give them a chance in cup games etc, they always increase by 17% BUT dont get any better. The progress bar doesnt increase neither, I have a gk and his progress bar was at the end and he earnt 17% in every game for 5 games but still no progress.

If you go to their Training page it will probably say "Needs to mature to improve further" or something like that. So basically, they will stay at 100% on the progress bar until they get a bit older, then they will get the upgrade.

Might be a bug, might be as intended, but that's the way it works currently.

Just got back into the game after a bit of a break. Received a recommendation from one of the staff coaches to have a player mentor another who can no longer be mentored. 

Also had a club put in a transfer request for one of my players, so I negotiated for a higher price and they accepted. But come the day of the transfer, I receive only the original amount of pounds offered.

I've always wondered with youth players needing to mature, their attribute gain is capped but does that apply to their CA too?

It'd be nice if they still gain CA even when capped at 100%. Otherwise it seems a bit pointless giving them any match time at all?

No, the CA and the attribute gain go together (apart from some special attribute gains from mentoring or specialist coaches etc that don't affect CA). A normal attribute gain (when they get to 100%) 'costs' 5 points of CA. So you don't want CA to go up if the attributes aren't going up, or they they will max out (ie CA = PA) and they there's no more attribute gains...

Note, I'm talking about the real CA/PA here, which you can't see in the game, not the star values from the staff.

Anyway, so yeah, it is a bit pointless giving them match time with they get that needs to mature message. It can't hurt though. Maybe experience/number of games counts for something? But if I have two young players vying for a position and one has that message, then I'm playing the other one...

Oh no... I had a bad feeling you'd say that! That really sucks.

Yeah, hopefully the number of games they play counts because now there's not much use in buying young players anymore. Except maybe to manually direct their training or hoard them when they're cheap but that's about it. It's like they're just sitting in the reserves/loan playing fmm instead of actual football 😅

Rather than placing a hard cap on development, I really wish they'd slow it down instead, increasing the gains over time as they age. Pretty much the opposite of how the game slows down a player's match experience when they approach their maximum potential.

Something like this:

15-16 years old: 1%/match

17-18: 1-2%

19-20: 2-3%

and so forth.

It's the same issue I have with the 'needs to play at a higher level' hard cap. I don't really like how no matter how many matches a player plays in a smaller league, he'll never be able to reach his maximum potential. Surely, they could just slow down their progress instead!
