Week 5 - The Bobby Challenge

Some claim they have seen him, some believe he is real yet others aren’t aware of his existence at all. Bobby is an urban legend only a few people believe in and rumour has it upon finding out who he is a life will change forever but no-one knows whether that’s for better or for worse. The only thing we know for certain about Bobby is that Norwich are a club close to his heart.

                                            

Team Selection - Now the mystery is out the way we can get on with the challenge. Quite obviously Norwich City are the club all 8 of you will be taking charge of this week.

The Challenge

This is the most simple of challenges so don’t worry but what makes it special and extremely interesting is the points system. The Premier League basement boys have had a torrid season so far but this is your chance to take them for a spin yourself.

The first task you are faced with comes instantly. In the spoiler below are 10 Norwich players, up against each other. You can only choose one player from each “H2H”. Whichever player you choose you can keep for the season, the player you have turned down will have to be demoted or sold, never to be used.

Decision 5 - Ibrahim Amadou OR Moritz Leitner

So, for example you elect to keep Lewis, Hanley, Pukki, Cantwell and Amadou then Aarons, Zimmermann, Buendia, Stiepermann and Leitner cannot be used at any point during the challenge.

You can buy players but any players you buy must be from English clubs in League 1 or below. Loans are not allowed and neither is signing players who are on loan at the lower league clubs. You can also sell any players you want.

Points

The main part of the challenge. It’s not a normal points system whereby league points and GD count, but every team in the league will be allocated a number of points in relation to their league position in real life. You will earn that number of points for beating that team, so beating Liverpool will earn you a massive 19 points whereas beating Watford would only earn the 1. For the full list of points look in the spoiler below:

You will earn the following number of points for each league win against the below opponents:

• Liverpool - 19
• Manchester City - 18
• Leicester City - 17
• Chelsea - 16
• Tottenham Hotspur - 15
• Sheffield United - 14
• Manchester United - 13
• Wolverhampton Wanderers - 12
• Everton - 11
• Arsenal - 10
• Burnley - 9
• N*******e United - 8
• Southampton - 7
• Crystal Palace - 6
• Brighton and Hove Albion - 5
• Bournemouth - 4
• Aston Villa - 3
• West Ham United - 2
• Watford - 1

You will also receive 3 points for every domestic cup round you successfully pass through.

This is a full season challenge.

Clarifications

• Each player you don’t choose from the options cannot play a single minute during the challenge
• You can buy players but they have to be from English clubs in League 1 or below. No loans allowed or buying anyone who is on loan at a club
• Free transfers are not allowed
• Any leagues loaded, coaching badges etc are fine
• You get the allocated points for every league win against that opponent, these points don’t count in cup games
• 3 points for every domestic cup round you get through
• Do not ask who Bobby is!

Deadline - Sunday, February 9th - 11:59PM GMT

• No cheating, holidaying or reloading. One attempt and one attempt only.
• Evidence via screenshots will be required. No screenshots = no points.
• Failure to submit before the deadline will equal no score - no extensions.
• If you fall under any suspicion you may be asked to submit your save file for investigation. Fail to do so will see you being ejected from the competition.
• PM me with your results in the already created thread.
• In case of tied points, the tiebreaker will be league points.
