O loved him in NJPW. His match with AJ Styles there were awesome, the WWE versions failed to excite me and they diluted the history by having one too many between the two.

Yeah I’ve watched a few of his matches in NJPW, so good. Such hard hitting matches. Mad to think he was against Lesnar there when Lesnar left wwe in the 2000’s.

He should have beaten styles at mania, making him and Asuka lose at mania really annoyed me.

A while back I always thought WWE should run an angle where AJ won the title on Smackdown and Gallows and Anderson (they were they are the time) won the tag titles on RAW completely independently. For some reason the main title on RAW would be up for grabs at the Rumble. AJ would be on commentary. Then at the end of the Rumble it’s, say, Bryan, Nakamura,, and Balor. AJ jumps up from commentary, Gallows and Anderson do a run in from the back, and they all dump out Bryan and Nakamura. They do some reference to the Club, then leave the building, belts in hand, through the crowd. It would have elevated the Club, made Naka and Bryan even bigger baby faces, and given a proper ‘what will they do next?’ thing.

Then AEW did it much better.

Great idea, shame WWE never think of these things🙈

I read not long ago that the end of the rumble will be something mental. Now because there’s no fans I hope to god it’s not a cinematic end.

I saw something like that. I hope they do something unique. I know Russo is a dick, and I know we all like proper wrasslin’, but there needs to be more swerves.

It’s why I think the fiend will win, may come down to Orton, Edge and The Fiend I think 🤔

I do like swerves, but my kind of swerve would be someone you wouldn’t expect to win to win😁

Remember when Del Rio won the 40 man one and it looked like Santino would win? I so wanted him to win and he nearly won the elimination chamber 😂

I have got the Monday off but I honestly can’t see me staying up, I will probably just watch it the Monday morning and not go on my phone, you?

I also feel like if I stay up I’ll be expecting too much of the show as I’ll be tired, so it’s Best to watch it next day haha.

I work 5 nights a week though so I have an advantage over you guys. 🤣 My body is already programed for it.

It's become instinct now. I'm able to sleep 2 or 3 hours after work then stay up from 11/12 midday until the early hours of the next morning. Then, if need be. Do it all again. It helps that the missus understands my love of combat sport, wrestling and football and she doesn't moan at me. Not as much as she should anyway. 🤣

My missus always said she didn’t like wrestling, then I bothered explaining a few things so she doesn’t hate it and doesn’t mind it being on, thankfully. I mean, she’d never choose it in a million years, but I don’t get that awkward feeling you get when you have something on telly that your partner hates.

I agree completely. She grew up watching it due to her Uncle and Brother being fans. She has actually come with me to every live event I've been to. Granted, she did buy the tickets. 🤣 Also, I think she enjoyed them more than me. The most recent, she kept running to the barrier to get pictures and manged to touch Braun Strowman's chest. I've felt very inadequate ever since. ☺

Talking of bizarro, we used to get Nixon’s company tour down our Pavillion. We would get ex-legends come down (John Tenta was one). Anyway, one time was the Bushwhackers. You could pay a fiver to get a photo done with them. I remember Butch asking me what I’d like in the photo and I said ‘can you lick my head please?’ as if it was the most normal thing ever... and they did it automatically as if it was the most normal thing ever.

A UFC fan?? Class, I haven’t missed a UFC event since it came to TV in the UK, which was so long ago now, granted it’s on record but still. I love it 😁

That is brilliant, they seem like the craziest people ever. I remember there HOF speech, it didn’t make much sense throughout 😂

I remember going to an event in cardiff and Paige and Wade Barrett were doing signings in HMV and Paige is even better looking in person 😍

My mate got so nervous he went to tell Wade that Preston were doing well but said Norwich and then his voice went, it was amazing 😂

Day of the rumble, I never look on any sites on the lead up to rumble just in case I see some spoilers. Looking forward to it now, hope it’s not a massive disappointment.

Instagram for me, I’m staying off there today for sure! Yeah I’m the same but I however think if I stay up and I’m tired when watching I may expect way more? So I may watch tomorrow morning 😂
