Turkish Delight (Season 5)

Last season had been the best so far with 2 players reaching 20 goals, and some extra goals from the international job. Let's see whether we can do better than that this season. Before that, it's the Euro 2024.

Turkey

An average team, with Denmark being our toughest opponent. (Germany is just so weak in FMM) Top the group winning all 3 matches, conceding only 1 goal.

You just have to expect a lot of goals from a match against Germany, and Omer Beyaz claimed a hat-trick himself.

Winning the group easily doesn't mean that we have a successful tournament, as we stumbled to a defeat against Ukraine in the First KO round. Underestimated them and didn't play an ultra-defensive tactic (which I did in World Cup 2022) resulted in the embarrassing lost.

An early exit for Turkey but Omer Beyaz still shared the Golden Boot with Inaki Williams after scoring 7 goals in 4 matches.

Lots of outgoing business with mostly backup players leaving after not getting much playtime. 2 heroes last few seasons Bruno Fernandes and Connor Wickham leaving the club as well.

As for incoming players, we have Aleksandar Mitrovic to replace Wickham as backup striker as well as mentor for Fehmi Koc. A few backup signings with Eder Militao being the biggest deal among them.

The Turkish Trio doing really well in the UCL Final to help us grabbing the 2nd consecutive UCL trophy.

Aymeric Laporte winning the Ballon D'or, my first defender to win the award., maybe because he's the only defender in my formation?

Won the French Player Of The Year as well, with teammate Theo Hernandez behind.

Omer Beyaz defeated Ali Akman to the Turkish Player Of The Year award.

That's the end of Dilrosun's domination in the Ligue 1 POTY, with Omer Beyaz winning it.

Omer Beyaz didn't stop winning personal awards with the Ligue 1 Most Promising Player won by him as well, good to see all three of the Turkish Trio made into Top 3.

Turkish Trio

Player 1 - Ali Akman

A slight increase in Movement from 18 to 19, while other attributes remain almost the same. His stamina is worrying tho, can't increase much.

14 goals for him this season, even worst than his first season. Another 3 goals for Turkey, a total of 17 goals from him this season. He's just so inconsistent, and getting tired easily.

Player 2 - Fehmi Koc

Finally getting some greens in attributes, as he's now past the "Development had plateaued" state. Developing into a decent Target Man.

Slightly better season than the previous one, scoring 18 goals plus another 4 for Turkey, 22 this season. He's still 20, but I'm starting to be worried.

Player 3 - Omer Beyaz

The best attributes among the 3, highest value and the highest wage among the 3. I have to offer him a new contract every 6 months to avoid him "losing respect of his manager", this guy have the insecure personality, and whenever I sign a player with the same position, he will start whining. 

The first to hit past 30 goals, it was Omer Beyaz's best season after so many hat-tricks. Another 11 international goals, give him a total of 41 goals this season.

Team Performance

Dilrosun still the team's top assist, while Enes Unal got a lot of goals too, mostly when I rest Ali Akman.

Triple Threat Summary

Last season was good, an increase of 25 goals, but only an increase of 3 this season. +80 this season, giving us a total of 290 goals out of 1500. They are still only 21, which give me some hope that they can eventually hit the target. Anyway, thanks for reading, and comments are appreciated.

Turkish Delight

The Rise Of Fehmi Koc

Omer Beyaz had been the better player last season, being the first out of the 3 to hit in 30 goals a season, as well as some hat-tricks, but the main plot of this update will be the rise of Fehmi Koc. Fehmi Koc, the second youngest out of the 3 (1 day older than Omer Beyaz) had been a late bloomer, only able to hit in 85 goals in the previous 5 season, but have started to show signs of being a quality player ever since getting pass the "Development had plateaued" state.

Main signing this season was Hannibal Mejbri from Man Utd, a world-class AMC.

Season 2025/26

Dani Olmo had been replaced by Hannibal Mejbri and was allowed to leave for Chelsea.

Sandro Tonali in to replace ageing Ruben Neves, a very young Turkish striker Ali Seckin Saracoglu in as backup striker and finally Jean-Clair Todibo as a long term successor for Aymeric Laporte, Eder Militao just wasn't good enough.

Season 2026/27

Both Fabian and Foden refused to sign a new contract and were allowed to leave. Cristian Pavon was past his prime now, and was sold to Porto.

Another bargain buy with Alessio Riccardi joining for free, and Moriba to replace Fabian and Foden.

A tragic season losing in both French Super Cup and UEFA Super Cup. An unexpected defeat early in UCL too, but still manage to win the league and French Cup.

I don't know why but it had been difficult for me in the UCL, knocked out in the Semis. Won the league again, with a better defense and a 100 points season.

A lost in UCL Semi Final again, did won the league again with 113 goals scored, the highest so far.

Omer Beyaz replied with a 5 goals performance in French Cup, probably the easiest game whole season.

Decided to let Fehmi Koc take the penalties after having Omer Beyaz missing a lot.

Fehmi Koc is getting better and better!

Ali Akman got himself a hat-trick as well.

The Turkish Trio

Player 1 - Ali Akman

Still only 12 in Stamina, with other attributes remain almost the same. Being the oldest out of the 3, it seems like he's about to reach his prime.

15 in season 6, 23 in season 7, and 26 in season 8. 11 international goals within the 3 seasons, give him a total of 75 goals in the 3 seasons.

Player 2 - Fehmi Koc

He finally look like a quality player now, after passing the "Development had plateaued" state, and have all the key attributes for a Target Man now.

21 in season 6, 31 in season 8 and 42 in season 9! The first to hit in 40 goals a season, Fehmi Koc is rising! 15 international goals, give him a total of 109 goals in the 3 seasons.

Player 3 - Omer Beyaz

His attributes does not look as beautiful as the previous season, but have a better Shooting attributes now.

28 in season 6, 19 in season 7, and 19 in season 8. Fewer goals scored now as he's no longer the first choice penalty taker. 16 international goals from him, giving him a total of 82 goals in the 3 seasons.

Turkey

It's World Cup again, got another easy group and progress to the next round easily.

Faced Argentina in the next round, manage to beat them through a narrow 2-1 win.

Met Spain and was knocked out by them again just like 4 years ago. Not the best World Cup for us.

Triple Threat Summary

80 in season 6, 87 in season 7, and 99 in season 8. Total of 266 goals in the 3 seasons, passing the 500 goals mark. The boys now have an average age of 24 years old, and is still considered young. With Fehmi Koc reaching 40 goals a season, hopefully things can be better for us. Thanks for reading, and comments are appreciated.

Turkish Delight

The Sacking

As mentioned in the previous update, I was sacked from the Turkey national team, but what really happen that lead to the sack? The story may have started 1 year before in the 2028 UEFA Euro Championship.

So we get into this group in the Euro's, with our strongest opponent being Portugal. We managed to beat Hungrary and Greece, and lost to Portugal as expected, managed to squeeze into the next round.

It was against Wales in the next round where Omer Beyaz was among the scorers to help us defeat Wales.

Quarter-final next and it was against Spain, the team that knocked us out of the previous 2 World Cups. This time, Fehmi Koc's penalty early in the match gave us the lead, and by "parking the bus", we managed to get into the Semis, facing our old friend Portugal.

I learned from my defeat to them in the group stage, and played an ultra-defensive tactic to get the match into penalties, where a fine performance from our GK sent us into the Final.

It's Italy in the final, the same ultra-defensive tactic is played, but no luck for us this time, as a fine performance from Esposito won Italy the trophy. Second in the Euros, not bad huh? Was that the reason of the sack, of course not.

And here it is, the reason of the sack. Quite an easy group in the World Cup qualifiers, to be honest, qualifying as 1st won't be a problem if it was 2-3 years ago, but the Turkey squad is not at the best in 2029. Not doing any changes to the squad may be the biggest reason here, I'm just too lazy to scout the Turkey players, and basically play the same squad from when I first take charge of the team. An ageing defense line, an average midfield line and a world-class trio of Omer Beyaz, Ali Akman and Fehmi Koc does not help. 

And finally, this was the result, sacked after failing to qualify for the World Cup. Bye ITN goals, hope I don't miss you too much 😅

Back to PSG, this will be 5 seasons long update, just because I'm too ahead in the save right now. 😅

Not going to show every transfers, since it's all about regens in this stage. Just some major signings.

The biggest transfer was definitely Naci Unuvar for 191m, just want to see how good he is. 

Ruben Neves who was among the first few signings in this career, ended his playing career in PSG, and will stay in the coaching team. 

And the retirement of Ruben Neves means that my son will be in the team.

That definitely does not look good, lots of yellows and reds. He's a natural right-back, and if he can progressed well, maybe he can be the successor of Moussa Wague at RWB.

I don't know if it's common in other saves, but the Ballon D'or had been dominated by defenders in this save since Laporte won the award. Laporte won once, Todibo won twice, and De Ligt won it 4 times.

The Turkish Trio

Player 1 - Ali Akman

5 years in, and he's already a 30 years old, the declining will start any time.

A total of 157 league goals, and 18 international goals, give him a total of 175 goals in the 5 seasons. That's more than his goals scored in the first 8 seasons. 

Player 2 - Fehmi Koc

I thought he will be the worst out of the 3 when I first started the save, but he proved my wrong after passing the "Development had plateaued" state, a world-class Target Man now at the age of 28 years old.

194 club goals + 19 international goals, give him a total of 213 goals in the 5 seasons, also more than the 194 goals scored in the first 8 seasons. He's getting better, and this may not be his best yet. 😉

Player 3 - Omer Beyaz

He's probably the most irritating player I have ever managed.

Upset at being substituted when I just want to rest him.

What an awful manager I am, having to apologies to him just to keep his morale high. 

I'm not the only one that finds him irritating, even this young player that was mentored by Omer Beyaz finds him irritating despite Beyaz being his favored person lol

About the goals scored, he's not the best among the 3 but was an expert in scoring free-kicks, 116 club goals + 10 international goals, give him a total of 126 in the 5 seasons. The only one that have scored less goals than the first 8 seasons.

Triple Threat Summary

Finally passing the 1000 goals mark in the 13th season, 430 goals left with the players reaching 30 years old, and will start the declining anytime. Thanks for reading, and comments are appreciated. 😀

And what a thrilling match this is, 7-6 against OL with Ali Akman scoring 4, and Todibo netting the winner in the additional time.

In his prime years now at the age of 29.

And an incredible 64 goals season for him, the highest yet! He's good in assisting as well, getting 28 assists.

Omer Beyaz

The player that always had a "Very Poor" morale. 🙃

Not a bad season from him, scoring 22 goals. That gives us a total of 124 goals this season, the highest in this career yet, all thanks to Fehmi Koc.

But that's his best season with 37 goals, that makes a total of 150 goals from them this season! The best tally again.

25 goals from him, a total of 111 goals from them this season. That brings us to a total of 1455, only 45 left now! Definitely going to be completed in the next season.

Triple Threat Summary

Challenge completed in the 17th season, with Ali Akman scoring 484 goals, Fehmi Koc scoring 643 goals and Omer Beyaz scoring 431 goals, reaching a grand total of 1558 goals.

That's the end of the Triple Threat challenge, but not the end of the career, Ali Akman agreed to sign a new 5 years deal at the very last day of his contract. All three of them agreed to continue playing after their current contract, which means that I will have at least 5 more years from the 3. 

Now what's next? Ali Akman and Fehmi Koc had now scored a total of 1127 goals, 73 goals short from completing the Double Trouble. (Can anyone help clarify whether it will count for the DT if they hit in 1200 goals?). I will continue to get at least 73 goals from the 2 to complete the Double Trouble, and probably more from the 3 in the final few seasons. Thanks for reading and comments are appreciated. 😀

Great achievement getting the TT done. As for the DT, only thing I can think of is that one needs to identify the players before starting the challenge. But honestly, it's a rule I never liked as it shouldn't take anything away from the achievement itself. Only the creator of the challenge could answer that, tho it's passed so many hands by now no idea who you need to contact. 

Play them contracts out and see what numbers you end up with.

I actually applied and got the offer for the job but rejected it 😂, it's a pain trying to build the team now. As for the 1kc, I may continue with that but will most probably abandon it as soon as his stamina dropped under 5, not the best memories using a 49 years old Shan Huanhuan 😂 Thanks anyway!

Throwing my two penneth in, as long as you started at least two up front in each game then IMO a DT should count. What I don’t agree with is when someone does a DT and then switches to a one up front when someone is injured, as that isn’t really in the spirit of things. But that’s just my opinion. So, yeah, I think yours should count.

With the Triple Threat already completed last season, what remain now is the Double Trouble between Fehmi Koc and Ali Akman, they are now 73 goals away from the 1200 goals needed. This will probably be the final update, as the save is just so tedious now.

Here's how the 3 looks like in the end of the 2 seasons.

Ali Akman

Only 2 greens now for the 36 years old, with his Stamina now dropped to 8.

He did well despite his bad looking attributes, 46 goals in the final 2 seasons, bring his total goals to 494 club goals + 36 international goals = 530.

Fehmi Koc

Surprisingly, he haven't declined much, despite suffering more injuries in the final season. He still looks like he can go for another 2-3 years.

He shows no sign of declining in the first season, with almost a goal a game. Second season was not as good, but still a good goal per game ratio with 37 goals in 49 games. 86 goals in the final 2 seasons bring his tally up to 687 club goals + 42 international goals = 729 goals. 

1259 goals between Ali Akman and Fehmi Koc means the Double Trouble is now completed!

Omer Beyaz

And the last player out of the 3, Omer Beyaz looks worse than the other 2, and with his Personal page staying like this forever, I just hate playing him now.

Only 18 goals in the final 2 seasons, brings his final tally to 406 club goals + 43 international goals = 449. His total goals count combined with Fehmi Koc was 1178, only 22 from completing a second Double Trouble, but there's no point continuing now.

The final season was tough in the league, as we only managed to win it in the last day. My tactics didn't work as well as previous season now, as it rely a lot on the attackers upfront and the 3 ageing players upfront does not help.

Final Manager Profile

Here's how my final manager profile looks like. The '4' in Transfer Acumen may be due to the huge spending, 3.9 billion spent in the entire career, but why care about that when you are in PSG.

Anyway that's the end of the career, 1708 goals scored by the 3, completing both the TT and DT, this should be the end now.

And the last player out of the 3, Omer Beyaz looks worse than the other 2, and with his Personal page staying like this forever, I just hate playing him now.

Only 18 goals in the final 2 seasons, brings his final tally to 406 club goals + 43 international goals = 449. His total goals count combined with Fehmi Koc was 1178, only 22 from completing a second Double Trouble, but there's no point continuing now.

The final season was tough in the league, as we only managed to win it in the last day. My tactics didn't work as well as previous season now, as it rely a lot on the attackers upfront and the 3 ageing players upfront does not help.

Here's how my final manager profile looks like. The '4' in Transfer Acumen may be due to the huge spending, 3.9 billion spent in the entire career, but why care about that when you are in PSG.
