Dortmund agree two year loan for Spurs youngster Troy Parrot. He is brought in as Dortmund recently suffered an injury to Haaland and need more cover in the position.

Vinicius Jr. won't be too happy with the signing after scoring 4 against Tottenham 😂

Could be a coincidence, but you 2 are the 2 teams that did the least transfers, and are the best performing teams so far.

I felt like the team had a good starting squad, only one or two weak links which I hope'd to address.

Might be one or two more to move in/out in the next transfer window.

Barca have great team to start with for at least 1 season, then most good guys like Messi decline to much. So next season will be the search for a new Messi and Suarez 😋

MATCHWEEK 5

Featured Match : Man City vs @Crashhart Man Utd

The clash between 2 city rivals, it's the Manchester Derby, ladies and gentlemen. Manchester City placed 8th in the league will enter the match losing their previous match against Bayern, while Manchester United placed 15th will enter the match with low confidence after only winning 1 match in their previous 4 VCD matches. This will also be the first derby match for both Argentinean managers Marcelo Gallardo and Mauricio Pochettino.

Team Form

Man City : WDWL

Man Utd :  LLWL

Key Players

Man City : Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva

Man Utd : Bruno Fernandes, Callum Wilson, David De Gea

Suspended/Injured Players

Man City : Joao Cancelo (Injured), Oleksandr Zinchenko (Injured)

Man Utd : Luke Shaw (Injured), Daniel James (Injured), Axel Tuanzebe (Injured)

Expected Lineups

Man City

city.thumb.png.036fff3f76d8c4ae4f1c017a049e4f3d.png

Man City didn't make any major signings this transfer window. Marcelo Gallardo is expected to start with a 442 formation, playing Jesus and Aguero upfront. Both strikers aren't in their best form, not finding the back of the net in their previous league games.

Man Utd

utd.thumb.png.c20b6d1ec10a2dd6c24be166887ab379.png

Injuries and the lack of defenders option for Pochettino forced him to play young defender Pavlidis again, while midfielder McTominay will start the match as a center back. Jadon Sancho will start as left wing back again alongside Tomori at right wing back, with Wan-Bissaka on the bench. Jude Bellingham is expected to get his debut for Man Utd, pairing up with Paul Pogba at midfield, while Marcus Rashford will be pairing up with Tahith Chong in the attacker, both are yet to score a goal this season. Their best performer in the league so far, Bruno Fernandes and Callum Wilson are expected to be on the bench for the Derby match.

Reshuffle at Manchester United

Pochettino might not have long to save his job at Manchester United, sources close to the chairman have mentioned how some bizarre decisions such as playing 4 CBs a game, playing Mctominay as a Central Defender whilst playing maguire at CDM and the general use of unknown Pavlidis have gone against the Argentinian, it is thought that Alan Padrew Has already been sounded out for the vacancy. Paddy power has placed the following odds out for next permanent manager

1/1 - Alan Padrew

2-1 - Alan Curbishley

4-1 Crashhart

5-1 Sir Alex Ferguson

10-1 Alan Patridge

20-1 Antonio Conte

50-1 Luis Enrique

100-1 Louis Van Gaal

500-1 Marty McFly

500-1 The ghost of Robert Mugabe

With Leicester City winning the league on 5,000-1 I'd be very surprised if the ghost of Robert Mugabe don't get the job... Although Marty McFly can time travel every time he don't get a result 🤔🤔🤔

Matchweek 5 Results

We start in reverse this week as we get to the Gold Division results first with Torino having a busy week playing 2 matches

@BatiGoal vs Southampton

Spoiler

626864784_TorinovsSouthampton.png.aa5d3e70faf17025e8b79b42348ae4c7.png

Torino once again failed to find the net against Southampton who had Lallana getting injured for them. So, for two consecutive matches, they played a nil-nil draw.

Sporting vs @BatiGoal

Spoiler

989436101_SportvsTorino.png.af1fe4eb298e7b02a4e13b04492a1bae.png

And finally they get back to winning ways and in an away game as Rugani, Millico and the in-form Zaza found the net. They have still not conceded after 6 matches. Brilliant!!!

@Titjes Barcelona vs Inter Milan

Spoiler

1313557932_BarcavsInter.png.34e1ecea8bbb9a867646bc801b157fd1.png

Barcelona continued their winning ways even though they had to contend with a rampant Milan in second half and with a man down. The new signings continue to make their mark with Braithwaite and Bernardeschi getting on the score sheet.

@Jsavfc Liverpool vs Porto

Spoiler

1417026401_LivvsPorto.png.3b74b5f6c741446a430a82541b0485df.png

After dropping points for the first time last week, they were back to their clean sheet winning ways with Mane's goal making all the difference. Their captain Henderson was injured though and will likely miss next match.

Sevilla vs @LTFC Dortmund

Spoiler

210891131_SevvsDortmund.png.230bf5260d1b542363e4af8b15dc84d8.png

Another week and another dull result as Dortmund once again failed to find the net against Sevilla. The lack of striking options are really hurting them.

@gunnersaur Arsenal vs Benfica

Spoiler

275451352_ArsevsBenfica.png.6d0f681d5be9a985c1eec388ec8775d9.png

Arsenal turned on the heat this week with Zaha finally managing to last a full 90 minutes without getting suspended and got himself a brace with the rising star Fiete Arp getting another two and Torreira also managing to find the net.

@ThomW12 Spurs vs Bayern Munich

Spoiler

1484341295_SpursvsBayern.png.7f997a4002c801eeee45bdf4660acb6d.png

Spurs defied the odds and came out winner via a solitary goal from Under unlike their real life counterparts. This bodes well for the team.

Manchester City vs @Crashhart Manchester United

And finally we come to the Manchester derby. Can United emulate their real life counterparts and come away with a win??

Spoiler

1630223108_ManCvsManU.png.8560db7ee813536670bf64076f660e47.png

No they can't as despite a solid defensive effort, Aguero fired in at the last minute of normal time to send the blue side of Manchester happy.

Odds for next week

10 - 1: Zaha getting suspended again

20 - 1: Torino playing yet another goalless draw

40 - 1: Somebody nets a hattrick

50 - 1: Liverpool or Barcelona loses a match.

Pep at Dortmund might be close, but reckon @LTFCwill hold out a bit longer!
