Mourinho Sacked!

Tottenham Hotspur's board had called upon an emergency meeting following the team's embarrassing 4-1 defeat to last placed Benfica, and had decided to terminate Jose Mourinho's contract just 6 months after his employment. Tottenham's chairman @ThomW12 will now start the search for their new manager, with former Benfica manager Jorge Jesus who's recently sacked by Flamengo being the favorite to take over.

A short preview of what's coming next ... the first match for Inzaghi as manager of Spurs against league leaders Liverpool. Can Spurs stop Salah from scoring?

A 5-1-2-2 formation played by the new boss, featuring Timo Werner and Heong-min Son upfront, while star striker Harry Kane will missed the game due to injuries. Florentino Luis pair up with Jack Roles in midfield, leaving Alli on the bench. The 3 center-backs are Alderweireld, Vertonghen alongside Eric Dier, while Upamecano was once again given the DMC role, just like what Mourinho did previously.

Who else but Salah as the sole striker, with Mane and Wijnaldum behind, with Firmino injured. None of the 2 new signings featured in the starting lineup.

Welcome to the game @JustM1kePlays😄

Here's the current squad of RB Leipzig for anyone interested. (You can still do deals between chairmen)

They are currently top of Vibe Platinun Division (3rd division) with 8 points clear and had a massive 19 points advantage for straight promotion. (Very likely to be playing in the same division with @gunnersaur's Arsenal next season 😂)

“A rich gamer who spent his entire life streaming Football Manager is set to buy a club in London with estimated worth of £400M. He’s also reported to buy that club because it’s his girlfriend’s favourite club. What a weird way to waste money. He’s a rich man... surely....”

”The deal is now done. Roman Abramovic is no longer the owner of the club. A new man calling himself xXKunAgueroDestroyer_69Xx is now the owner. His girlfriend who apparently called KaneganWorshiper is going to tell us everything since the owner looks so lazy to”

“This is going to be a huge project. Superstars like Griezmann and Coutinho is now going to say playing for us had been a dream of their childhood.”

”Bold word there for a team that is currently in the relegation zone”

Welcome. One advice tho, avoid facing Torino at all cost, if you're a sore loser 😁

Thanks for the warm welcome. I have heard that the chairman of Torino is trying to force his team to play some very strange formations.

Matchweek 26 & 27 Results

Vibe Challenger Division

Tottenham @ThomW12 vs Liverpool @Jsavfc

First match for Simone Inzaghi as Spurs Boss.

Spoiler

Not the best result for Tottenham as they suffer a narrow defeat to league leaders Liverpool, but losing by only 1 goal should be a positive for them that was defeated 4-1 by Benfica in their last match.

Arsenal @gunnersaur vs Juventus

Spoiler

It's Fiete Arp's match again, his 8th league goal so far, but Arsenal still failed to claim all 3 points against a Juventus side that have CR7. Still not losing is good enough for Arsenal isn't it?

AC Milan vs Dortmund @LTFC

Spoiler

Only 1 goal in this match, and it was Lautaro Martinez that scored against his old team, his first goal since joining Dortmund.

Arsenal @gunnersaur vs Liverpool @Jsavfc

Another tough match for Arsenal

Spoiler

No luck for Arsenal this time, as Mohamed Salah was once again on the score sheet, widening the gap between him and the rest in the Golden Boot race.

Barcelona @Titjes vs Napoli

Spoiler

A bore draw between Barcelona and Napoli that just lost their manager to Tottenham. Is Barcelona's chance for the league title slowly fading away?

Tottenham @ThomW12 vs Sevilla

Spoiler

An easy win for Tottenham, their first win under new boss Inzaghi, with 3 summer signings Grimaldo, Luis and Werner on the score sheet.

Vibe Gold Division

PAOK vs Torino @BatiGoal

Spoiler

Only the 2nd match where Esposito failed to score since signing for Torino, but a goal from Chiesa is enough to claim all 3 points against a weak PAOK.

Matchweek 27

Chelsea @broodje kip vs Arsenal @gunnersaur

This was simulated before Chelsea got themselves a new chairman.

Spoiler

Screenshot_2020-04-30-19-20-19-882_com_sega.soccer.thumb.jpg.251f3c5ddb69722636def535188a87c3.jpg

Not expecting this didn't you? @broodje kip It's Chelsea that won the London derby, and Batshuayi who was just sold by their new chairman was the hero in his last match for the Blues. This victory is enough for Chelsea to escape from the relegation zone, with Arsenal down to 18th.

Manchester City vs Liverpool @Jsavfc

Spoiler

Screenshot_2020-04-30-19-20-22-528_com_sega.soccer.thumb.jpg.0f7794e3d70b6d063814bbcb9118492a.jpg

A 2-2 draw between the 2 English sides, with 2 Liverpool players injured in 2 minutes, did they get involved in a fight?

Tottenham @ThomW12 vs Atletico Madrid

Spoiler

Another draw for Tottenham, with Timo Werner scoring again. The German was having a good time under the new boss, scoring 2 goals in 3 games compared to only 3 scored in his 13 games under Mourinho, but he was probably only benefiting from Kane's injury

Man Utd @Crashhart vs Bayern

Spoiler

Screenshot_2020-04-30-19-20-27-225_com_sega.soccer.thumb.jpg.ae5a09d61c486d3f27d31d80636d7af3.jpg

A draw for Utd despite Bayern playing with only 10 men after Coman's red card.

Vibe Gold Division

Torino @BatiGoal vs Getafe

Spoiler

A shocking loss for Torino against 10th placed Getafe, but Esposito scores again, a staggering 8 goals in 8 games, yet he's still "struggling" to settle in.

Hertha BSC vs Torino @BatiGoal

Spoiler

A 90th minute goal from defender Rugani to seal the win for Torino.

Vibe Challenger Division

Untitled.thumb.png.bc79ca128b10b3c06dbb2c9a73576b3f.png

Liverpool still on top, but Barcelona still have the chance to overtake with 4 games in hand and only 11 points separating them. If they won all 4 games, they will be on top again. Dortmund, Tottenham and Man Utd are still fighting for the Europa League spot, with Dortmund being the closest from the 7th spot. Chelsea and Arsenal still fighting against relegation.

Vibe Platinum Division

Screenshot_2020-05-06-16-53-30-291_com_sega.soccer.thumb.jpg.0d25788d960687925c93a17e842e90ca.jpg

@JustM1kePlays RB Leipzig sat comfortable on the top of the VPD table, 6 points between them and 2nd placed Atalanta, and 19 points between them and 3rd placed PSV. ( Since all the above matches are simulated before the takeover, I will only start to post RB Leipzig's results from next update on).

Vibe Gold Division

Torino back in straight promotion zone, but still not too safe with West Ham closely behind. They may still have a chance for the title though, with 10 points separating them and Espanyol. However, looking at their upcoming fixtures, anything can happen.
