Hi Guys, so I am back with another short challenge to test my skills and one I don't think anyone has tried so far.

Once again I take on something set by the Dutch master @BatiGoal

The Battle of Bosses I Challenge

A simple short career here but as the seasons tick by the challenge gets tougher and tougher as you look to defeat each Boss.

Head 2 Head....Goals are my weapon but the Bosses has other ways to outscore me...

Season 1: Boss 1 - The Necromantic Number 7

What a way to start, if this guy is Boss 1 then who else am I gonna face?

In order to defeat these bosses I need to select the right background team to help my hero defeat the boss.
I went for a strong divisional team, full of youth and promise but also a feared reputation across Europe...

My first hero is a long forgotten wonderkid, seemingly heading in retirement but I have called him up for one last challenge.
If you need a hero then call for.....Pato-Man!

Can Pato-Man help defeat The Necromantic Number 7?

Best of luck. I have been eyeing this challenge for a long time and would definitely try this once my long term save is over. Can't wait for your attempt though.

Its a good little challenge and a chance to use different strikers in the game I think.

Thanks. I am heading towards this shorter challenges these days to keep the game more interesting.

He still has got the stats for a top level striker, just maybe not in one of the top leagues.

Season 1: Boss 1 - The Necromantic Number 7

Quite a bit of business here. Wind will be the backup/partner striker for this challenge. Bargain as he turns into a great player. Pulgar is my must buy each save as he is another cheap option but can play in a variety of midfield roles. Pato was only £4m too.

Well, we got rid of quite a lot of big names.
Luckily I managed to hand onto the big boys until the end of the season as the bids came flying in and they were all unhappy 😥

So 20 games into the season Pato is doing ok, nearly a goal a game but I think we will need more to defeat this first boss.

Maybe we won't after all as CR7 is struggling for games at Juve. Seemingly the fancy Dybala more. Good news for me 👍

Still not lost it!

A decent first season as we go unbeaten in the league but drew some silly games.
Champion league is always going to be a bonus here and we made it to the knockout round. A cup double was just what we needed.

A clean sweep for my guys at the annual awards.

So Pato-man hit a superb 47 goals, I was really looking for 50 plus but it wasn't to be.
Wind was backing him up and partnering him as I tinkered with the tactics. Ziyech leaving was a big blow as he was immense for me.

Boss 1 - The Necromantic Number 7

Wow! This was an easy first win as CR7 didnt even managed 20 games. No POM or red cards so just a lowly score of 13.

Solid win. I expected a bit more resistance from CR7 but Pato did superbly. A glimpse of his former talents. The next Boss will try to hurt you a little more 😉

Yeah, it was a bit of a no match really. I would expect a tougher fight next season.

Pato was very consistent and for £4m you cant really go wrong.

That's what I love about this. There's no telling what numbers each Boss comes up with in the next career. Someone might see your attempt and go: "Damn, that first Boss is shit". And then get smashed by him 😁

This is true indeed, you do never know how the game will manage the other players, Lets hope luck is on my side again.

Great start. I think maybe Ronaldo has reached the stage where father time has finally caught up with him. Hopefully Messi is at a similar stage for the next round.

Yes, not really sure why he wasn't played. Dybala seemed to be their main striker when I looked but he could have player in the AML or AMR positions. Have to see how Barca use Messi.

Season 2 - Boss level 2 - The Master of Murder

So onto Season 2 and a new boss, possibly the greatest boss of all time but who can I match up against him?

With Pato-Man yesterdays news I needed a new hero, someone I could rely on and really pull out all the stops so I sent up the signal and called for...

Zzzzzzzzzzaza!

Another nomadic striker looking for one last heroic battle!

Zaza only set me back £14m as we splash some of the cash recouped over the summer by strengthening in all positions.

More big name exits with Martinez departing, luckily I was able to Ake in the replace him.

With 25 games gone in the season Zaza is having a stormer and blasting 30 goals before Christmas.

Lets see how the Master of Murder is getting along...

Oh dear, another fallen hero not doing the business. It seems Barca have barely played their hero.

Another easy league title but failure in the domestic cups was bad for my game time plus an early knockout round exit in the Champions League.

Zaza finished with an impressive 50 goals, I was happy with that as I tweaked the formation a few times to get the best from him. Marin had a great season in AP role with Tagliafico impressive in the left WB role.

With Zaza setting a decent total of 50 goals, lets see how Messi go on..

Another pathetic fight from these so called bosses, just 25 points here as Messi doesn't even play 20 games for Barca.

Another shame really as it wasn't a fair fight but I will take that. No Champions league either as Liverpool took that title.

A shame they failed to put up a better fight. Plenty of simulations to predict and calculate a competitive score, and I must say Ronaldo and Messi did quite well still on those first two seasons. Maybe the sight of Dano-Man made them succumb under raw fear 😱

Yeah, Zaza was very good indeed. I agree, its been a bit of an anti-climax so far this challenge but hopefully the next few will provide more of a challenge.

Season 3: Boss 3 - The Pole of Pain

So onto Season 3 now. The first two I would admit have been an anti climax really with no resistance offered by two of the greatest bosses of all time. We now have to fight a true boss who has been lording it over Europe for the last 5 plus years.

He has double points here so I am really up against it. For this level I have chosen an up and coming hero who has been in red hot form lately and who I hope can defeat the Pole...He is simplify known as D.C.L

So 20 games into the challenge and DCL doing well, but is it enough when there is double goals for the Boss!

So Lewandowski has not played as many games but has been in fine form but only for his club.
So we hold a slender lead at this point with DCL on 22 points and Lewi on 18.

So we have a great season as a club.
Stroll to the league and Super Cup. I also manage to upset Barca in the final of the Europa League too.

Another slight change in formation allows me to bring in Gravenberch who is developing into a worldie plus Ekkelenkamp played a big part as I look to youth in the squad.
Marin had another solid season as the AP. Stengs performed well when he was signed in January.

So how did DCL do, well he hit the top score so far with 57 goals in just 54 games. Outstanding return from hero.
I couldn't really ask for more from him but was it going to be enough?

How did Lewi get on with the rest of the season. He had a very good season indeed with 22 goals scored, which doubled is 44 goals but luckily for me there was no INT goals for him so its another boss level down. At least this one gave me a contest!

I’ve used DCL before and he’s a fine performer so it was no surprise to see him do well here. Lewandowski at least offered some kind of fight but it was never going to be enough. Next one may well be harder though.

Excellent job, Dano-Man. Was pretty close tho. Not sure you'll defeat the next Boss. For your own sake I hope you don't as Boss 5 will certainly humiliate you 😂

Yeah, we was fine form all season long and did better than his stats suggest, I guess at a bigger team he would be worth over £50m

Season 4 - Boss level 4 - The Tyrannical Triple-Two

So, our toughest opponent yet, with double points for his goals and assists. This is going to be hard to defeat!

In order to take this one on I looked to a family of outstanding hero's and picked up the new kid on the block, trying to create a myth like his father before him...

Thermo=Thuram

I managed to bung in DCL into the deal so but still cost me £15m too. A big, powerful target man which I think will do well but will it be enough?

20 Games

So with 20 games game, how is Thermo-Thuram doing?
Well, he is doing ok with more than a goal a game but we probably need more that in order to beat the boss here.

The Tyrannical Triple-Two has got his wish to move back to Spain but with Real and not Barca.
He has also started well and picked up his bonus too so he has a slight lead at this point with 28 points to 22.

Squad Stats

A fairly average season for me club wise with just the league and super cup to show.
The dutch cup is really bugging me this career. Some really poor defeats.

Awards

Gravenberch retains his young player award with Thuram nicking the other two.

Thermo-Thuram v The Tyrannical Triple-Two

Looking at the final figures and Thermo-Thuram had a storming season with 66 goals in total, a great effort there but again would this be enough to defeat the boss?

The answer is yes!!!
Neymar didn't play too many more games and so didn't score too many more and finish with a score of 55. 
Good but not enough. There was some doubters on here, @Kanegan and @BatiGoal hoping to see me fail here but my band of heroes keeping marching on to the final battle.

Thats it, just one more boss to defeat...

Boss level 5 - The French Phantasm - The Final Boss

We have come this far, surely we cannot be defeated now?
