Before I review season 8 I need to round up the 2026 World Cup and also the 2027 Nations League, which went as follows;

A fairly straightforward run to the semi final, which saw a close win against the Dutch.

 

Then a game of two halves in the final, went in 1-0 down to turn it round in the second half to win 2-1 and lift the World Cup!

 

Took us top of the work rankings.

 

Bellingham and Sancho both scored 9 goals but Bellingham was awarded the golden boot.

 

Onto the Nations League.........

 

Thought we had nicked it in the 121st minute until conceding in the 124th minute! Won on pens thankfully.

Domestically there was minimal business on the transfer front, we are well into regen territory now  Few Bosmans in and fringe players out.

Back to a clean sweep on the pitch, winning every competition although we got very lucky in the Champions League Final. This season also saw us start playing our new stadium.

Apart from a 3 week layoff for Bellingham he had a good season fitness-wise;

• He scored 76 club goals and 20 England goals to make it 96 for the season, an excellent return!
• Dembele scored 18 club goals and 29 assists, also adding 4 England goals.
• Sancho scored 17 club goals and 15 assists, adding 9 England goals.

An excellent season from Bellingham, boosted by those World Cup goals, took him to his second best season to date. For the TT we notched the exact same figure as the previous season and are well on our way to our target there.

I might have missed this, but is Bellingham playing in the T role? I'm assuming that's where the majority of the goals are coming from. And only 1 CM? Nice (and crazy) tactic! 😄

Thanks all and @Scratchi have been playing him as an SS the last few seasons and I think I get marginally more from him than as a treq, but not too much in it. 1 x cm yeah but IWB’s to help give some presence there. It’s still prone to getting overrun in middle of the park but most of the times works well.

Hi all, double update here and apologies as it will be fairly brief. I want to get it posted before the VWC starts. 
 

Season 9

I won’t bother with transfers as we’re well into regen territory now. Managed to win the lot this season, it was also memorable for Sancho finally nabbing world player of the year and a great scoring streak from Bellingham At the turn of the year with 4 goal hauls against united and Liverpool within 5 games.

Our three guys saw a drop in goals overall with 129 and although Bellingham was consistent with a further 77 club goals his international tally was down so overall he registered 86 for the season.

EURO 2028

We had a good run to the final of the Euros with England but were beaten by France thanks to an Mbappe hat trick. Bellingham did however pick up the best player and top scorer gongs.

Season 10

Knocked out of the EFL cup quarters this season but that was the only blot on another good season overall.

A similar TT figure to last season with 132 but extra international goals from Bellingham boosted his return to 94. This season was also memorable for a record number of assists with 38 from Dembele.

So our updated manger profile looks like this, I am trying to focus on using my youth players and domestic players to get that rating up.

 

Three more seasons should nail the TT and for someone who is only just about to turn 26 Bellingham is well on course for 1.5k I reckon.

The lad from Scotland was tearing it up at 13 years old  I remember a sky sports news feature in him a few years back  if it’s the person I’m thinking of  

I’m starting to panic as my TT record could be in danger.....

It is the same banner. It’s just the 1kc that gets split out. I’m going to use my Strikerless tactic for my attempt at some point.

Hi all, another double update to this career.

Season 11

On the pitch it was a clean sweep and an extra bonus in season 11’s figures is that the WCC was played in its entirety this season so we had a ton of games to go at.

But for missed penalties and injuries the 100 goal barrier would’ve been broken this season.

However despite this we still hit a nice 146 goals towards the TT and Jude nailed 96 for the season club and INT goals combined.

World Cup 2030
On the international front we had the 2030 World Cup in Italy.

Nice easy group to get started.

 

Fairly straightforward knockout rounds despite more missed penalties from Jude put us up against France for a chance of revenge in the final.

 

A few late goals saw us avenge our defeat in the euros for a massive WC win!

Season 12

A couple of slip ups this season meant we missed out on a few trophies but we secured the main ones. The only major downside was a 3 month injury to Sancho.

Despite Sancho’s lay off we still managed to hit the same TT total of 146 as last season. The main news however is Jude hitting exactly 100 goals in a season for the first time! Few extra INT goals got him over the line.

On the England front we rounded off a successful season with a Nations League win.

In summary we are going along very nicely, 24 goals off the TT and just 16 goals off Bellingham’s 1k and he is just about to turn 28 so plenty in the tank hopefully. Dembele’s assists are racking up now too and I would really like to get him to 500 if poss.

Hi all, apologies for the lack of updates on this one but with the VWC and work issues have held this one back a touch. This season is a significant one.

Season 13

Lost in the CL Final fir the first time in a while, but won everything else on offer.

This season was significant as with 141 TT goals and a further 94 goals for Jude we passed our TT target and the 1k!

We also had a bit of a squad clear out and Jude is still crap at penalties! 
 

 

However the main targets are now passed and my focus is to try and get Jude to 1.5k and maybe Dembélé to 500 assists, although he currently doesn’t want to sign another contract so we’ll see how that one pans out.

 

Asa footnote EURO 2032 was staged in England which we managed to win, Jude contributing 10 goals in the tournament.
