Help Training Wonderkid

Please help me out. I'm managing PSV Eindhoven. They have a wonderkid named Ihattaren, but in the first four months he hasn't shown much progress in training.

I see a partly orange bar in the training screen. My assistant says he "needs to mature if he is to improve further" and at the bottom of the screen i see the text "Development has plateaued"...

Can anyone please give me some tips on what to do?

I think the worst thing would be to play him regularly but just get 6's, and then the next-worst option would be for him to get no gametime at all.

I found out that first point the hard way last year, but I haven't tried or noticed it this year - if he's getting regular sixes but showing progress in the post-match screen then I guess you're alright.

Otherwise, reserve football or going out on loan can be very useful. You don't need to worry about the ratings here.

I just let my assistant do the training, so I can't help there. But yeah otherwise, the maturity thing is just about age, he'll grow up and get better. Although you could try finding him a good mentor? (Make sure the mentor has a desirable personality...)
