Jolene, Jolene, Please Don't Take My Man!!

Inspiration can come from any old place as I once again bring a challenge to the community with a questionable yet obvious origin. 

 

 

"Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, 
I'm begging of you please don't take my man, 

Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, 
Please don't take him just because you can"

The Set Up 

You take Newcastle's own Jolene aka Joelinton and use him in a two up top tactic. His partner can be any striker of your choice. 

The Challenge

The aim of the game is to have your striking duo collect as many Man Of The Match awards as you can in a single season, however the catch is your selected striker is your main man, while that Jolene is a Man Of The Match snake! 

For every Man Of The Match award your selected striker gets you earn 1 point, however for every "man" Jolene steals from your selected striker you're docked 3 points! 

The champion will be whoever can claim the highest points tally under these conditions. 

The Rules 

1. You must play as Newcastle United 
2. You must use your own two up top tactic 
3. Both players must play when available
4. Play fair as in don't abuse substitutions
4. No editors or unlockables
5. Screenshot evidence will be required 
6. Have fun

I agree that inspiration does come from odd places. I think some of the films I've done (and yours) are testament to that!

If you can sign him by legit means, which I highly doubt sure.

I love the bizarre ideas, keeps things fresh and I enjoy trying to turn daft things into FMM stuff. This one was inspired by hearing the song and talk of the player in a small enough time frame that it just clicked in my head lol.

I had to come read the thread again to really understand it. Now I have to go and start all over again after playing 14 games.

So how many MotM has Joelinton got for you so far? 😂

Maybe you can try for -114 points and try to be unbeatable at the bottom of the leaderboard instead 😂

😂 He’s got 6 MotM out 13 games he has played. I'll start all over

That's a bit of a grey area tbf but most people aren't fussed either way unless stated, so yeah they're fine.

The one that's not Joelinton. Any he gets has a negative impact, any his partner does have a positive impact

Want to try this, but not so keen in having a single digit or negative score as the first on the leaderboards...

Might very possibly end the season with 0 MotM from both players 😢
