Help Staff Budget???

Hi Everyone, I finally took the plunge into FMM 20 after playing FMM 18 for the last couple of years and it is WAAAY more in depth.

 

Question: I am playing my first save on the new game with York in the VNN, they don't have a huge budget which is fine but they have almost no staff and when I try and sign a new staff member a get a message saying there is no staff budget.

I managed to sell a player for £150k which has helped the finances a lot but there is no change on the staff budget. Can I do anything about this or do I have to wait for the new budget next season? I really need to beef up the staff room, we have zero scouts and one physio.

Check if your wage budget is Red out, I mean if your wage finance is on deficit, try raising it by going to your finance. That should do

Have you tried offering roles to staff who aren’t under contract at other clubs?
