Career My Journey - Olympiakos [Season 1]

This is my first post on here so I've decided to make this to become more familar with the site, and aslo to share my expierence managing Olympiacos. Any feedback is appreciated

My first few games went well with my new team. Defeating PSV 2-1 agg in the Champions League third qualifying round. Followed with a win against Club Brugge in the fourth qualifying round first leg 3-1.

This is the team going into the first season, ill update all transfers once the window shuts. Followed by updates around january then again at the end of the season.

This pretty much means ill update this at:

-The start of the season

-The end of the first transfer window

-Start of January

 End of January

-End of the season.

The window is now closed and i cant say it was too exciting

Nobody in,

Nobody out.

Its been uneventfull however we had multiple failed transfers, we just didnt have the funds. We tried to negotiate a few loans but not a single player was interested.

On the other hand, we have been doing well on the pitch, 8 competitive games played, 8 won.

So, at this point we are doing better than id thought we would be even after signing nobody. Nevertheless, Ill see you halfway through the season to keep you updated

 

So here we are: The end of Januray. First of all, lets go over the transfers.

In: Very happy with these. Lhery has had a good start for the club already scoring a few goals, but the player im most happy with is Scott 'The Block' McKenna, huge signing for us, goes straight into the lineup.

Overview: As expected, even after qaulifying for the UCL Group stages, we got outclassed by Napoli and Chelsea. However we did drop down to the Europa League, so we have that to try and win.

I think thats it so far, im fairly dissapointed with our position in the league, id like to be a few points clear but we have been pretty average so far, obviously not to saddned by our performance in the UCL as I was not expecting us to get out of the group anyway. Im happy with the transfer buisness ive made though Any feedback is appreciated on how i could improve.

Well, That's it then, season 1 complete.

Overall pretty disapointing, turns out the greek league splits after 26 games and the top 6 teams play in a mini league, to see who gets UCL, UEL, and the Title. So, these were the final standings.

We had a terrible end to our campaign, basking is woeful form. Although there was a glimpse of hope for a tiny little while, where we won 4 games on the trot and went level on points with Panathinaikos, but then getting embarassed by PAOK final game of the season. Anyway this is the final overview of the first season.

 

Not sure what im going to do without Emre Mor. Onto Season 2.

It's a really fun league to manage in and Olympiakos is a great team! Only though games I experienced were AEK, PAOK and Panathinaikos.

Left back is solid, your backup can easily fill in if offers come in for Tsimikas. Fortounis can be the creative force you build around or bring in some money. Good luck

Thank You! Yes ive noticed Fortounis has been pretty good for me so far, planning on keeping him around for a long time. I am having fun altough having a tough time trying to sign any players, mostly having to rely on loans
