Thanks. It’s when you dirty Northernors come down that our beaches get ruined.

There are members here on Vibe that would be disgusted at you claiming me as a “northerner”!

Long way to go yet with the assists as my fella could break a leg or something!

Let's hope he doesn't break a leg!

And Gloucester is definitely not northern 👀👀👀

Great couple of seasons fellas, @Robmaybe making inroads on the assists and @Ianmassive congrats on the Gundogan challenge! I’ve seen a few people attempt it but don’t recall seeing completed. Brilliant stuff!

I've just spent the last HOUR reading this to catch up guys and this is EPIC 👀

Almost been cheering on @Woody all the way as an underdog and wanting his unique set of players to catch up on the leaderboard , he's doing brilliant and love it that the stadium is named Toilet bowl

I think I'm going to need a lie down after reading this but yous are clearly some of the best players of this game as some of your stats lads are ridiculous! Green attributes all over the shop

@Ian Funny you mentioned the 13 month horror injury , I remember years ago on a game getting a 12 month injury on handheld and never had one close since , was lucky with injuries on the latest version of game max injury I had was only 3 weeks , thought this must be a bug then realised damn no I've been lucky as then out of no where 2 month and 3 month injuries started appearing

Excellent for completing the Gundogan challenge too as that's some achievement mate

@Foxy is clearly the assist king in this race for glory , some cracking assist scores there mate

@Rob Seems to be blowing the pack away with the goals being scored but everyone else is catching up with Ian and Foxy not too far behind and we can't rule out Woody as you do know , it's often the tortoise who wins the race or whatever that saying is!

Also when you mentioned Germany often being easy to beat I've noticed this too , don't SI not have the licence for the German National team and maybe this is why? Or did they fix that for this year's edition?

Finally yous are right about the moaning issue , if it's not players are knackered with dodgy fitness every 3 games at least once a month a player will throw a huff and want a move elsewhere ( reminds me of a certain Cabaye from years back)

Enjoyed this long read catching up and look forward to the next few posts!!!

I appreciate the comments mate.

Its been a fun ride so far and the other 3 tend to get the best out of me as they are better in some ways. These challenges help you no end.

                   Woody: Season 11

Apologies to all i have been unbelievably busy this last week with work so this has caused a delay in posting my update.

Anyway, i shall move on.

We seem to be in the final straight(atleast thats the feeling i'm getting) and the end is in sight.

We did a far bit of transfer business this season. I went abit Spanish mad as i was lacking in players for the Spain squad.

My Padres and assister have done me proud uptill now.

Beltran is certainly been a late bloomer. He supplied another 22 assists this term pushing his total up to 160 so far.

Our 3 Padres are getting closer to our target total albeit a few seasons away yet.

Ruiz had a cracking season beating his previous best collecting 40 goals. He also improved his Spain tally with another 2 goals. Giving him 42 in total.

Nino has had a few tough season but he did improve abit this time grabbing 27 for the season. He added 5 to his Spain total too. Giving him 32 in total.

Zarzana has definately been the star of the show upto now and he didnt disappoint this time either. He actually surpassed his previous best notching 42 goals. He also added another 7 to his Spain tally. Giving him 49 in total.

Spoiler

That gives the Padres 126 in total for the season giving us our best season yet.

Beltran: 160 assists.

Ruiz: 332 goals + 19 int'l = 351 total.

Nino: 266 goals + 13 int'l = 279 total.

Zarzana: 351 goals + 42 int'l = 393 total.

Overall total: 1020 goals.

Thanks for reading.

Ian - Season 11

After last season’s Gündogan exploits I expected the boys to party hard all summer and come back in for pre season in a right mess but that wasn’t the case at all as they all arrived focused on the new season in a relatively fit state. Apparently they had a right blowout for a couple of weeks then decided to get their act together to try and give themselves a chance of beating their season five record goal return of 118 in the new season. They’re all right at the peak of their powers now so if it doesn’t come over the next couple of years you’d feel the chance would have passed them by.

Let’s see if they could manage to hit their target this season.

Team Affairs

Not a great deal of business in the market for us this year and I think this might be the last time I put the transfer page up as we’re almost into total regen territory now.

The team won everything except the CWC where Spurs beat us in the final but we’d scored a good few goals in the earlier rounds which gave our warriors a decent chunk of goals before the main season even began. A bit of a drop in our league goals this year but we made up for that in the cups where we had some bigger scoring games as you can see from fixtures below.

Warriors

We were on a mission to beat our best total yet of 118 goals and we did so in fine style as the Postman managed a great return of 45 which is by far his best yet, Josh also hit 45 and Boadu followed up with a decent 39 to give us a total of 129. Our assister also added 40 assists to his tally so a very productive season although those CWC games certainly helped. There were a few injuries to the warriors but I won’t post them as I feel I used up such a lot of screenshots on the Gündogan so I’ll try and save on those from now on I think.

Foxy Season 11

Warning - This update contains some upsetting scenes and those of a nervous disposition may not want to open the spoiler.

Spoiler

The team as a whole kept on performing although we lost in the Champions League final for the 2nd season in a row.

Capanni

After some big seasons Cappy had made quite a slow start to this season with only 14 assists by late January. Worse was to come though as he had the dreaded leg break which ended his season with nearly half the matches left to play 😫

It likely this injury will have cost him between 14 and 20 more assists this season which doesn’t sound many but it could make a big difference come the end of the career as I aim for a personal best of 551.

The worry will also be if it effects his attributes but I won’t know the answer or that until he is back in action come season 12.

Season Assists - 14

My goal scorers did decent enough this season with 145 goals this season which leaves me 93 goals short of the TT which should be collected next season.

That’s the sort of injury I’m after to be honest as I’m sick of all of these shorter ones. You should be proud and it sounds like you are so enjoy the moment.

Your scoring warriors certainly performed well so congratulations for that too.

Season 11 - England - Rob

Going in to this season we need 118 to get the TT. Could the boys, now 27/28 and in their prime, do it?

Transfers

As these careers go on the transfers mean less, but here they are:

3FE9831A-D571-4638-87F6-D2AF2EA8AD46.thumb.jpeg.fe24de69ff9c8366e4379676864efda5.jpeg77F504CD-E854-4EE1-A1B7-1A1CC2AD0BC5.thumb.jpeg.16f048c2c3eb91b2fe053ad06bb09808.jpeg

Team Performance

Clean sweep. We don’t seem to get masses of goals in the league, but they all tend to be focussed towards the three strikers, which is useful.

Player Performance

Elliot got another 37 assists taking him to 291 in total.

Dembele got a paltry 18 goals, Rogers a decent 56, and Greenwood a massive 88 in a 162 goal season.

This takes us to 1,544 goals. TT complete! Woohoo! 🥳 🎈 🎉

We have also got the a DT between Greenwood and Rogers too.

Greenwood is now at a handy 689 goals too. Hopefully we can get him to a 1kc.

Obviously I’m delighted with getting a TT (and DT) in eleven seasons. Having ITN obviously helps. I am going to continue on with the exact same tactics and roles and target a 2kc now, as well as a DT for Greenwood/Dembele and hope none of the strikers want to leave.

The Warriors

Foxy is now within touching distance of the TT and is leading assists. Ian, without ITN, is nailing the club goals and should get the TT in a few seasons, with Woody’s three non-superstars marching along at a wonderful pace now. This is a great challenge and all Warriors are achieving excellent results.
