Tactics Inter 3-5-1-1 won everything unbeaten 1st year

Been a long time posting since my other tactics and decided to come back and here is my latest save will try these tactics with another team in diff league. If im playing at home i usually play balanced the entire game. Unless desperatly need a goal. Its not the highest scoring formation. But if you look at goals conceded im really happy with that. I alternate between martinez lukaku and espostito as striker martinez and esposito are poachers. Lukaku was target man until his preference changed to complete forward. I look forward to seeing how these work for you.

Its the lowest amount of goals ive ever conceded i thought zebre (juventus) would of scored more considering the firepower

Not really if i know the game will be challenging i stay balanced away and then if im winning by the 80th minute i go to contain. Thats pretty much it

So i tested with wolves no transfers except 1 player and it was a defender. From barcelona b.

Seeing as wolves have more wing backs than actual central defenders. 

Sadly i did lose games as a needed to rest players for certain games but on a whole still impressive.

This involved rejigging the entire squad to fit the tactic.

Sadly, it’s not working for me. I’m conceding a fair few and I’m very inconsistent.

Theres a few things,

Not you personally doing anything wrong. Im a newcastle fan myself. And unfortunately longstaff isnt quite cutt for a BBM midfielder. And werner for me doesnt score enough goals.

Also depending on how you play in game. I.e 

Balanced,control,counter ect. I have always had fast paced players on the DF. So swap out richie for ASM. For the Bbm here i went for creativity passing and teamwork. Moutinho worked well for me here. So maybe try and recruit someone like tolisso,or gorekza. And also for the bumber 10 role (mata) id would of recruited someone alot faster like neto. Neto he is extremly underated. Neto,or i would of purchased zaha ect hope this helps.

For pretty much every save I use https://fmmobile.net/2019/11/22/key-attributes-for-the-fm20-mobile-player-roles/ as a guide, and Andrada was the guy who came up. Cheap at 6m ish too. I've used him in previous saves for fimilar tests and he's always very good, because Dubravka is very error prone.

In another test I've recently done from a 3 at the back formation, Longstaff was used as a B2B and broke into the England team at the end of the first season, we finished joint top in the league and won a cup. So whilst I appreciate he's not the best, he's done it before!

I hadn't changed mentality, as you'd mentioned you barley do yourself.

If i am a bigger team i do mate. For example when i was inter (original thread) i stayed either basic or went attacking if i needed that goal. Overload if was 0-0 or drawing ect in the 80th. 

Much lower team requires alot of tinkering. I always check what CPU is using. Let me find my detailed guide it explains better. What i mean.

Sorry i cannot seem to find it. So ill try explain. If im newcastle going against i dont say norwich for example. I know i have a better chance of winning. Unless puki decides he wants to give you a nightmare. But norwich u should and can beat easily with newcastle. So i start and basic mentality. Cpu either start on defend or basic. If cpu is at home they always start on basic unless ur a (powerhouse) team. But were newcastle so 9/10 they will start basic. Then as game progresses depending how its going for u. Cpu will change mentality to attacking if you 1-2 goals up. This is where u change mentality to counter. Or if your in the 70-80 minute. Go to all out park the bus. (Contain).

On the defence tab add (waiste time) thats how you grind the wins. 

If your facing spurs,man city,man utd,chelsea ,arsenal any of the bigger teams. Its all about getting the first goal and constantly changing mentality. Pay attention to pre match recommendations from assistant. For example joelinton doesnt feel we will get a result. 

Andy carroll is looking forward to the match.

Play andy carroll over joelinton. < just an example.

I start usually on basic at home vs bigger teams. If they are hammering me on possesion i switch to counter. When i say hammering 9-10 shots to my 1. In first half. Ill list what i find counteracts each mentality below. Person opinion of course. 

Basic/basic - not really able to counter. 

Weak/strong

Defence-attack

Contain-overload

Counter-balanced

Overload-counter/contain (80th+) minute

Control-counter

Attack - basic/defending

I guess it’s a case of different playing styles here. I’ve played many saves with many tactics and had immediate success, it just didn’t happen on this one for me.

They dont work for everyone. Nothing is perfect as the saying goes but appreciate you trying it. I just wanted to put it up as dominated italy and it got a mid tier into europe with no transfers.

Finished the season with newcastle Won premier league 😁😁 and the signing i made pedro Ruiz for 5m Is insane. Pay no attention to his stats these numbers speak for themselfs. 

Next season im going to sell alot and try train up some youth and play them.

I started a second season without checking sorry. I was so hyped about pedro ruiz what a bargain. I didnt even look at any other stats. The goals mainly come through the middle for me atleast anyways. The DW i use mainly pressure the opposition defence into making mistakes so i get more clear cut chances. So i dont think very many came from dws to be fair

Used this with Man City (I know, i know, not a challenge really) and we won the quadruple.

Signed Mbappe and the Marquinhos and Skriniar to play alongside Laporte in the back 3.

Unbeaten in the League, beat United in the League Cup Final, Arsenal in the FA Cup and FC Porto in the Champions League Final.

decided to give myself a test on this One with ac Milan only problem I face is vs big teams away I end up conceding one goal and no matter how attacking I go i never manage to score one back I always get many shots up to 20 some games
