Thanks guys. Playing in China helped i guess as even with diminishing attributes, he managed to score that many.

Looks pretty interesting. I will be giving this a go which will be the last challenge attempt of this thread. Before that though, i have two single season challenges which i would be posting.

KDB Challenge? Maybe the Neymar/Mbappe one too? I’ve just made a start on that one.

Ok having just started a new job this month after lockdown, my playtime is very limited and so i have not been that much active as before in recent times. But last evening, i managed to get some time and i finished off one of the challenges which is KDB Challenge by @Rob.

Season History

Liverpool stopped us in all the three cup fixtures we went against them, the Community Shield, the FA Cup and the Champions League. Seems like Klopp had my number.

 

League Performance

We pulled off an unbeaten league campaign, first time that i got it in the 1st season of PL so something to cheer about.

 

Awards

Plenty of awards coming in KDB's way including the Golden Boot for 41 goals in the Premier League.

 

 

Kevin de Bruyne

 

So, i broke out my strikerless formation for this and we get 41 goals and 20 assists which gives me 61 points for the challenge. Would have been plenty more of assists but after more than 75% of the season had finished, it occurred to me that i have not set KDB for the corners. My bad.

Anyways @Rob if you can add me to the leaderboard.

Thanks guys. The unbeaten season was a pleasant surprise which i don't reckon i have achieved ever earlier in the 1st season of PL. Also as perhaps Rob said, i might have got a few more if i had not made the mistake of the corners. Maybe i will re-visit this at a later time because currently my game time is pretty limited and i want to get on to the other challenges.

 

My next will be the Neymar - Mbappe IF Challenge so i will be back with an update although it may take some time due to RL.

Ok so i am back with my next challenge which is the Neymar Mbappe Inside Forwards Challenge by @Rob.

Season History

So, a memorable season with a clean sweep and an unbeaten league campaign.

 

First of all i would like to show you the tactic that i employed:

I used my flank heavy formation which i have used a lot this year on different challenges. The main difference was that i didn't employ any CF so Neymar and Mbappe shared the majority of the goals.

 

So, now some highlights from the season:

League Performance

Points from league (LP + GD) = 106 + 76 = 182

 

Cup Runs & Notable Matches

Mbappe hit two hattricks.

 

Awards

Mbappe dominated all the awards including the Ballon D'Or and Europe's Best.

 

Neymar

Neymar hit 42 goals and 30 assists contributing 72 points towards the total.

 

Mbappe

Mbappe was much more prolific getting 65 goals but only 12 assists getting a total of 77 points.

 

Total points = 182 + 72 + 77 = 331 points.

@Rob, if you can add me mate.

 

This was a nice challenge as you had to be creative to get the best out of your IF's and what pleased me the most was Mbappe and Neymar getting over 100 goals together from the IF position.

 

Next will be the Messi & Ronaldo Challenge.
