Great season. I thought he'd be scoring more (hence my prediction), but hopefully he will score a little more with the better shooting! Either way though, they are fantastic results for him.

Thank god for CWC otherwise we were looking at a hattrick less season for Maddison. So, one hattrick and 12 penalties.

So, his shooting increase led and CWC led to his best season of this career, with 47 goals and 36 assists i.e 83 contributions in the season.

Brilliant season Kane, he’s looking very good now and it’s only the slightly low physicals I feel that’s holding him back from being truly great although he doesn’t need to be any better as these returns are fantastic really.

Thanks guys. He finally delivers a great season. If only his shooting attributes had increased a little earlier, this would have been easily completed within 5 seasons. Hopefully the next one is his last.

Congratulations on completing that, it's fair to say that under your guidance Maddison turned to be a much better player than Lampard was, which is some effort! Really enjoyed this one.

I looked for something that would last a few seasons, but not too long. I had a few ideas that looked too short (One Season Defenderless or One Man Team Challenge) and then a few that looked like they could go on for a long time. And then I had a few I liked, but you were already one the leaderboard. So in the end, I'd like to nominate a new one that lasts 3 seasons:

So, after resolving Super Mario and finding out the new Lampard which a certain individual namely @Scratch said that he was even better than Lampard, i was happy. Two assignments and both went great. Again, it was back to the good old time machine and before long i was back in England.

But this was not London, no, i had landed in Newcastle to take charge of the struggling club with a cheapskate owner. And then, the message dropped. It was again from @Scratch who seemed to be a die hard supporter of the Toons. Apparently, i had to bring a French Revolution in the Toons to pay tribute to the great Frenchmen who have plied their trade here and there were restrictions in place, typical of Mike Ashley!!

So, after lot of thinking, i finally settled on a formation that would emulate the Keegan's entertainers, because if you are a Newcastle manager, you better become a trailblazer.

With that in mind, here i present Kanegan's French Toontainment: ( sounds more like a wrestling promotion, yikes!!!)

 

Challenge - Frenchy Toons by @AdamNufc

 

Summary:

1. Sign only Frenchman under 25 years of age and below 16 mil. for three seasons and cause carnage. You cannot sell any frenchie but you can sell other nationalities.

2. Every goal and assists scored by French gets a point each.

 

Prediction Contest:

1. What will be the total number of goals scored by Newcastle in the 1st season??

2. What will be the highest number of individual goals by any player in the 1st season??

Oh my, that tactic! 😄 I don't think we were ever that attacking, at least formation wise, but I'll be interested to see how it goes! I have to say I don't know many of the players either. This is going to be a good one to watch.

As for predictions, I assume that they are both for all competitions, not just the league? If so, then put me down for 115 and 41. Thanks!

Yes, they are for all competitions. And as for tactics, trying some unusual tactics to see where it takes me. I used the same for my Mario career so will be interesting to see where it lands.

@Kanegan One of the most attacking forward thinking tactics I've seen this , it's going to see a lot of who can score more than the opposition 4-3 kinda games and even more crazy scorelines I reckon!

Our primary objective was to qualify for Champions League and we did just that scoring the 3rd highest goals in the league. We conceded buckets but i was not exactly going for defensive tactics.

Maximin is the one of the two old Frenchies in the squad and switching him to an IF playing on the right of Aye invigorated him as he nets 11 goals and 19 assists.

Again Rose, Atsu, Krafth, Lascelles and Longstaff were the non-French to get an assist.

96 goals scored in total by the team. Was expecting a bit more but with a bunch of uncapped and no-name chaps, this result looks decent.
