Career Auba goes to Merseyside {Late bloomer} - COMPLETED

Thanks a lot @Foxy for this lovely challenge.  

Challenges like these really get me pumped - as you get to play with your favorite players who you watched while growing up and not the spoilt teenage sensations of today's world. (no disrespect though)   

FMM has got some of our favorites who are on the other side of their 30s... and still going strong! 

For this challenge I have used one my personal favorite Pierre Emerick Aubameyang. 30 yrs of age, lethal striker with amazing stats. 

and he is going to be playing for my fav club, Liverpool - the new champions of England. 

 

 

Before joining - his total career goals are 179, which makes me to get him to score 180 goals before he retires.

So, here is the update on season 2 - slightly underwhelming - as he scored 11 goals less than the previous one, but good enough for a 32 yr old. So hoping for the best.

Season 3: 

Great season for a 33 yr old - 50 goals.

Now 23 more goals to go.... hopefully by mid season in next year's edition.  

 

Season 4 

Completed the challenge - Auba scored his remaining 24 goals in early March.

 

In between he got injured for 2 months and remained tired for most of the season. So, didn't really play much and completed the season with 29 goals and 10 assists in 34 apps. 

 

Well, the challenge got completed just in time as when I started the next season - the main man decided his future. So, farewell, Auba!

I have just started this one, my player is not so great and the second season his stats took a really hit.
