Help Anchor man help

hello. Im currently on my 2nd season with 1860 Munich. Got promoted in my first year and have found a good tactic at the start of the 2nd year. But im struggle to find a anchor man in lower divisons that are cheap and kinda okay. Does anyone have any recommendations for anchor men?

I can’t give you any names off the top of my head but have a look for CB’s that can also play DM as they should make decent anchor men. If you can get a player with good positioning, tackling and a little bit of passing you should be ok even if they need a bit of retraining for the position.

I would recommend using the loan market whilst you’re in the lower divisions. When buying in the lower divisions though my favourite method of recruitment is to sign players from the teams who get relegated. At the end of each season check the relegated clubs for each of your loaded leagues & see if you can find someone you like.

I’ve recently started a Hamburg save & managed to get Denis Zakaria, who would fit your role perfectly, for under £10m. 

Scott McKenna & Mohammed Salisu have been my favourite cheap CB’s to use in FM20 but I’m not sure they fit the role you require? Maybe too expensive as well?

Anyone with 13+ positioning and tackling is good. If he have high stamina it would be a huge boost too
