Help No messi - I crie :(

I am thinking to try the no barca no cry challenge but unfortunately not able to sign messi to any club i chose. 

Any tips on that? or why is it happening ?

@BatiGoal said to me earlier in the year that if you wait half a season until the January window it’s much easier to sign Messi then.

I tried the challenge but didn’t get very far and don’t think I could get him anywhere in the first window without selling half the squad at the club you take over.
