Wow, sorry about Xisco retiring - I really thought he'd play on. Nice work with Le Tallec and Kagawa, that's an awesome season! Both Pablo Mari and Wulker Farinez are players I've looked at in 3 or 4 careers, but never quite signed, so will be interested to see how they do for you.

Hi all, thank you for your comments. Season 4 was the World Cup season and we needed a further 10 goals for Le Tallec and 31 for Kagawa.

Not much to comment on transfer-wise, just general squad strengthening.

We won everything domestically, and got through the group stage of the CL. Unfortunately we then met Juve and were knocked out.

So did we manage it this season or do we have to go into season 5?

Yes we did, just!
Le Tallec is now 38 and very poor but managed 19 goals overall and finishes on 111 goals from his target of 101.

Kagawa was a closer call but managed 33 goals which meant he scored 115 in just three seasons with us, just beating his target of 113.
 

Despite some drama with retirements I thoroughly enjoyed this mini career and always like to do something north of the border each year so that is now ticked off.

@Foxycould you please add Le Tallec (111) and Kagawa (115) to the late bloomers leader board? Many thanks.

Great effort mate. Was good to see more than one late bloomer at once, that's pretty hard, but you did it mate. Pity about those PITA players that didn't stick it through, but in hindsight I can't say I was too surprised about Xisco letting you down... 😄

But anyway, major props for battling through that and returning excellent scores for these two players!
