Chat 6 Seasons 6 Title Wins

Hi All

Most of you know me, I like to take on smaller teams and see what I can do in regards to success, I rarely manage or at least start with any of the big clubs in any country, plus usually on a shoestring transfer money.

So on deciding I would simply chill with a lower team, VNN York, no other country buy England selected, no badges or rep, could I get them to the premier, and what success could I achieve. Well to my surprise, and the question i ask is there any other success stories where you have started in any country in the lowest league available and had successive League wins with the same team?

I had almost done it, except I got third plavee in the prem. The save was with guisley

That’s fantastic going mate, I’ve had a couple of similar games on this years with Kettering and I can’t remember the second team, but I do find that winning the leagues up to the prem are quite straight forward, I say straight forward but thats if you have a tactic sorted and you know what kind of players work in each position, I’ve found overly attacking formations work so well in poorer league’s , so even up to the prem defences just can’t handle all out attack on this years version, I don’t know if anyone else has noticed this.

That's an impressive career also, it's funny how 4 or 5 seasons the "top" teams seems to be very weak in comparison to their previous success

Thanks mate, as I said above, I find that a few seasons in, and not all the "big" clubs seem to be as successful, I find there are final tables with smaller clubs find a lot better, it's like AI keeps their players until they basically fall over, meaning they weaken each season and don't really strengthen in the transfers, that's probably why the defence gets weaker also as there players simply age to the point where their stamina and pace disappears

Yes, that's true in most of the cases. I think they hold to the players too long until they loose quality.

Great work @Cockers2505, that's truly fantastic. I've never got anywhere near that, there's always a season where I don't go up or finish second or something. I don't think I've even seen anyone do that before, so massive props to you!

Thanks, I guess we all know that the youngsters will come through eventually, but the IA as you said seems to hold its superstars until they become superslow!!

Cheers scratch, I surprised myself as it started with a simply tactic test (proven 4-2-2-2) and then I thought wow I keep winning, could I go all the way? CL in the first season is a big ask, but who wouldn't at least try, I'll let you know 😂

CL in the first season is not a big ask, I did it so you can do it... As you can see, you're better than me. When you have a team that you keep improving for 4-5 years, CL is not a big task

Yes mate, literally stuck with it all the way through, keep the shoot on site as this did work for once, and the target man was amazing
