iScout Player Recommendations - Top Flight Bargains

This thread is intended as a place you can recommend players you who you feel are a bargain for any club in a top division and cost less than £20m (or the equivalent of 20m of your local currency) and show how well they developed and performed for you. It is also a place where you can find recommendations for players you might not yet have used or even heard of before.

In order to make this thread as useful as possible please follow these guidelines when you post.

• The player needs to have cost less than 20m £ € or $ and you signed him for a club in the top flight.
• Please post a screenshot of his attributes.
• Please provide some information such as what club you bought him for and what he and you have achieved together. You don’t need to do a long write up and screenshots on there own is ok.
• Please don’t post about a player you have edited the attributes, potential ability or current ability or because clearly he won’t perform as well for other people.
• No regens.

• Please keep posts to either recommendations or asking questions about a player so that other people don’t have to wade through lots of “banter” to find recommendations.

Managed to find a bargain CB for <£20m in Spain international Pau Torres, who's only 23:

In my Liverpool save, I managed to get him for his release clause of £19.5m (although his release clause when I started a different save was only £15m so it may vary):

After signing him as my fourth-choice CB, making only 12 appearances, his attributes improved a fair bit in less than 5 months:

Can confirm he is reliable, Torres was my go-to CB buy for my save for FMM20 and now 21. Also a bonus that he's left-footed, for those who care about that.

2,2 million and in some time his attributes skyrocketed. 

Even made a return to England national team.

This guy cares about them being left footed and like you I bought him a lot last year, him and McKenna were by favourite left footed CBs

Mate, Butland is a classic. Tbh he's a good keeper IRL,but he got stuck at stoke with that joke of a defense.

English goalkeepers all seem to do the same, start out strong than decline... It's happening to Pickford as well. My personal favourite is Nick Pope, it's really a shame he hasn't been given a real chance between the sticks for England.

I'd love to see more on this thread in fairness ... There's some really good release Clauses out there I haven't got stats because I keep chopping and changing saves 😂 but these 2 are always my go to if I need someone cheap and decent

Worth having a look at ... You have to be quick with Olise .. he usually signs a contract quickly and gets rid of the release Clause

Italy, England, Holland and Scotland. Load England/Spain as he’s Spanish and plays for Man United

How did he developed better than the one that is in my save. I gave him first team exposure and latter playing time ://

 

Anw, mines Orsolini. Signed him late but sure does the job done whenever i need him. A good squad player with great profesonalism (a must)

Haven’t got screenshots, but Robert Koch (Leeds) and Demiral go unreal on the game, literally have 20 in all the important attributes for defenders. 
 

Would also recommend David Turnbull from Celtic.

Ballard from Arsenal goes brilliant as well and is usually available free transfer after first season.

Got a couple players here who i think derserve a spot on this list,

Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty, from TFC, can be picked up from under 1 million off the bat, is valued at less than 500k.

Absolutely amazing player and has great hidden attributes as well including great set piece ability and I mean look at the way he grew for me and still has half a star of improvement!

Sadly only appears if USA is loaded as he is on the TFC II reserve side

 

 

The second player I'm adding is Nico Serrano, I know everyone knows about him as he is probably the best free transfer you can get when starting a game but I mean look at these attributes I had to share. Still has some room to grow on this save also!

I didn’t get the screenshot but Jamie Shackleton develops to a great well rounded midfielder and a good captain too.

Kelvin abrefa is one of 4.5 stars potential with 190k price.

He comes with terrible shapes too but have 17 aerial for a central defender.

This guy is really good, I picked him up for about 3 million in the first season and he was worth 90 million by the start of the second. Highly recommend.

Looks good for 1kc challenge, low Teamwork attribute = selfish strikers = he will goal many goals in seasons of game play ahead

Yup, you are right @broodje kip.  Haji Wright and Josh Sargent. While Sargent is a bonafide wonderkid, Haji Wright did great business for me.

Can recommend this guy, used him mainly off the bench, could be very good as starter, good attributes, works well as an aerial mentor, admittedly a few seasons later.
