Really depends on your players though. Good luck and let me know how you get on

Report · Posted November 27, 2020 Here we are again at December 1st! What can I say, we're flying! It's tight at the top but I'd be lying if I said we're looking to finish mid table again...promotion is a realistic goal now! November was a brilliant month as well picking up Manager of the Month as well as 2 of my strikers in the running for POTM. Will updated again after January transfer window where I'll likely just be looking at squad players until the end of the season.
Report · Posted November 27, 2020 9 hours ago, Shector said: After pre-seasonal and group stages of the Betfred Cup we topped our group! Looking like more of the same from last year hopefully. I was modest with the goals towards the board looking to steer clear of relegation but tbh I think we'll be more mid table Can you please stop, you're making me look bad nah all good. I did the same with my expectations. That Betfred group looks pretty generous! Keep up the good work anyway, I'll keep you informed on mine
Report · Posted November 28, 2020 (edited) Well it's 1st February check in and nothing has changed! As you can see still top of the league and unbeaten since the last update! As well as an impressive Scottish Cup win against Dundee Utd to provide us with a 100k cash flow which was used to upgrade our youth facilities! Report · Posted November 28, 2020 There you have it! With 2 games to spare WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS! Back to back winners and massive over achievers this season! Unfortunately our cup run ended in the 1/4 Finals as we faced Scottish Premier League Champions (God that hurts to say) Rangers An early goal, penalty missed and a man advantage but it wasn't enough 😔 Loanee Michael O'Connor picked up the leagues top goalscorer who we'll look to buy for next season and Josh Peters continues to bang them in coming 3rd! Finally to wrap the season up last seasons loanee POTY and new addition Liam Burt made TOTY. Can we do it again next season!?
Report · Posted November 28, 2020 (edited) Season 4 With a healthy bank balance we managed to promote both of our coaches to silver and recruit a youth scout in Eric Abidal which is pretty cool. Fairly busy in the market albeit most will be backup/squad players. First Team Signings As I said in last seasons closing post we have brought in Michael O'connor, top goalscorer and a perfect TM. Next we have Cameron Harper from Inverness. Only 21 years old he will go straight in at LB with my current French LB aging he'll fall the to bench to provide backup. Finally we have Morgan Feeney who will slot into CB replacing Daryl McHardy who hasn't progressed much and isn't good enough for the level. Youth Then we have Ray Reynolds a graduate into the Youth setup at the end of season 1 who has spent a few season on loan. With brilliant physical stats he also slots into the first team and will hopefully be a mainstay for a few seasons as he continues to progress! This seasons goal will most definitely be to avoid relegation! I've just completed Pre-season and Betfred Cup Group fixtures where we didn't progress this time round and didn't have great results in the friendlies. Hopefully after the relationships build with the new players we build up a good squad again 😁 Edited November 28, 2020 by Shector
Report · Posted November 28, 2020 1st December Update It's the first real test for the team since I took over as the jump up from League 1 has been a steep learning curve. Struggled to find form early doors and found ourselves shipping goals left right and centre, however, we have managed a good run since mid Oct progressing through to the Semi-final of the Challenge Cup and also the Fourth round of the Scottish Cup. Michael O'Connor has been our saving grace as he continues to bang the goals in leading the league scoring charts.
Report · Posted November 29, 2020 Mid Season Update January transfer window has flew by and I forgot to update so here's where we stand on 1st March! Up one place to 7th and unless we go on a crazy run it looks as though we'll be fighting to stay there! A nice victory over St Johnstone in the Semi-final of the Challenge Cup sets up our first cup final against Raith soon! Our only acquisition in January was Kevin Nisbet from Hibernian who was brought in to help share the burden of scoring with O'connor.
Report · Posted November 29, 2020 (edited) Challenge Cup Final! It's only 3 games since my last update but I thought this moment deserved an update of its own... Those 3 games were 3 losses and O'Connor is not even fit for the bench. McAllister believes he can change our Fortunes so will slot into ST with Makoube and Peters will play the TM role... The first Cup competition win of my reign is the SPFL Trust Trophy (Challenge Cup)! An unbelievable performance from the whole team. Peters found his shooting boots and McAllister was a man of his word! Hopefully this result can push us for the remainder of the season to keep us up! Report · Posted November 29, 2020 Season 4 Round-Up We finished 7th which during my last update was what our goal was. We went on a good run since winning the challenge cup including beating Motherwell who won the league. The team relationships are fairly strong now which seem to play a big part in how a team plays in this game. Or at least becomes more relative when playing with players with lower stats. Incredible moment for Michael O'Connor who was selected in the Northern Ireland squad to represent them at the European Championships! I'll be looking to send our youth scout out to the UK this time round and hunt for some future gems as backups to the first team. I don't plan to change the first team much unless someone special pops up.
Report · Posted November 29, 2020 Season 5 Preview Here's how the club looks... Not quite sure I'd class us as rich but we're definitely comfortable! With the facilities now at Adequate/adequate we should be able to hold onto players easier as they grow and bring through some youth academy players. We have set our goal for the season to achieve Championship playoffs! Which I believe is achievable with our current squad. Plenty of new faces brought in as Eric Abidal was sent to the UK to scout for youth brought a number of future stars to our attention. J'Neil Bennett is the only player brought in that will feature as a backup to the first team.
Report · Posted November 30, 2020 Mid Season Update Currently sitting second however there's only 2 points separating us and Dunfermline in 6th! We've lost a few key first team players so I'm dreading the coming month or 2. We got this little message from the board for the first time and would normally have improved some facilities however we went for an affiliate to check out the new feature and we disappointingly got Stirling! Got ourselves a nice cup run again in the Challenge Cup as we knocked out Celtic Reserves to set up a Semi-final against St Johnstone. Be calling me Scot 'Giant Killer' Hector soon!
Report · Posted November 30, 2020 (edited) Season 5 Roundup! We met our goal of reaching the playoffs although the league was in reach almost until the end! Into the playoffs we go where we face Falkirk in the first round! Spoiler After a 2-1 loss first leg we clung onto a 1-0 win and then won on penalties to take us through to the final against Dundee! Spoiler One step too far unfortunately 😔 after losing 2-0 at home in the first leg it was an uphill battle and the victory wasn't enough. 😔 With the second best defense in the league our downfall was a lack of goals. 17 goals short of top scorers Dundee and even Falkirk below us scored more. Promotion will be the aim for next season as well as maybe a change in formation/roles to score some more goals. J'Neil Bennett loanee from Ross County was voted POTY and we may put a bid in should finances allow! Edited November 30, 2020 by Shector
Report · Posted November 30, 2020 Season 6 Ill slow the pace down a bit this week as I was working nightshift over the weekend and managed to power through! Pre-season/Betfred Cup Group Stage passed as we topped the group. A brilliant 2-0 win over Premiership team Hibernian set us up nicely! Transfers Only one transfer that goes straight into the first team with the rest being more youth Hot prospects. Abidal is now a Gold Youth Scout meaning he's identifying loads of talent across the UK! Spoiler Arthur Grivosti Bought last season for a cool 85k. The 18yr old is now ready to slot into CM and make the position his own! Spoiler Kieran Dunne Another purchase from last season for 2k who actually played with the first team at the end of the seasons will be this seasons starting striker in the TM role. Spoiler Stevie Sutherland Finally, bought from Dundee Utd for 95k another new striker. Only 19 yrs old with brilliant stats already! With two new additions to the attack, I'm hopeful they will be our solution to the lack of goals!

Report · Posted December 1, 2020 Mid-Season Update Brilliant start to the season and we're on a good run of form. Morton are on fire absolutely banging in the goals but hopefully we can keep pace with them and squeeze ahead! The squad is strong and the relationships are growing!
Report · Posted December 1, 2020 Season 6 Summary It was a big season for us after reaching the playoffs in S5 i set out our goals of achieving promotion. As January hit and i gave the mid season update we were behind Morton in 2nd place separated from the rest of the pack! The new young signings were working wonders and with a few consistent performances I believed we could win the league outright! Spoiler We did it! After 6 long seasons we have got promoted to the top tier of Scottish Football. The jump from League 1 to Championship was a bigger challenge than I remember from previous years! Only 1 goal behind top scorers Morton & Falkirk and we scored 7 more goals than last season only conceding 3 more keeping the best defensive record of the division. Spoiler Top Goalscorer & POTY Kieran Dunne was brought in as a youngster with loads of potential. Thrown in at the deep end to lead the line he didn't disappoint! Both he and Josh O'Connor were tied on 18 before the final game of the season with both bagging hat-trick! To round it off he won POTY and I believe this is only the start of things to come if I can hold onto him! TOTY & Individual Leaderboards Spoiler A good year for the squad all round especially Grivosti who came in again as a youngster with promise asked to be our 1st Team RP. TOTY for him as well as most assists! Honourable mentions for Dunne and loanee Denham who find themselves there also! Onto Season 7 stay tuned for the preview!
Report · Posted December 1, 2020 Season 7 Preview Going into our biggest season yet we won't be changing much! Fired alot into the club facilities as well as got a few more staff through assessments! We line up with only one change Steven Connelly, 20 years old, brilliant physical stats and very useable technical/mental. Another good cup run may be on in the Betfred Cup as we topped our group and got an impressive 1-0 against Hearts to go along with it!

Report · Posted December 2, 2020 Mid Season Update League Table Spoiler After my mini league table update we drew with Rangers at home and lost to Celtic 3-1 away. I have to say I'm surprised we're sitting 3rd, it's a case of we just need to score more than our opponent at the moment! Brilliant month for individual awards picking up Manager of the Month myself as Dunne picking up both POTM and YPOTM. Grivosti also in the running for the young player award. Not going to get ahead of ourselves! Our goal for the season was avoid relegation and if we do that I'll be satisfied!
Report · Posted December 3, 2020 Mid Season Update League Table Spoiler From 3rd to 6th we've really struggled to get many points together and build any sort of consistency. From analysing highlights we've changed the formation a bit moving IWB to DFB and pushed the two Poachers onto the wings to play as IF's. A few matches with these changes and we're already more defensively solid and still scoring as many (little) goals as we were before. Couldn't pick up much in January just a backup left back however we'll need a good few players at the end of the season! We should be safe for this season unless Hearts/Morton win there remaining games and we capitulate!
