Career RichD - Triple Threat Delight (Season 6)

I just can’t help myself can I and I thought there be no better way to try and get stuck right in with FMM21 than a triple threat as I massively enjoyed this one last year, so we go again, did well on last years but no idea how this year will go 😬

The Team

So as you can see I am taking over from this man, Neil Lennon, a very angry man at times, I do hope I don’t end up making these faces at my screen as the career goes, but we’ll see. I love managing in Scotland, and it’s an easyish one to start with.

The Players

Sebastiano Esposito 

So we start with a man I know well, not sure how he will turn out on this years but he has decent stats, especially for Scotland, he is brought in to be the main man hopefully.

Youssouph Badji 

Never ever heard of this boy but he’s got decent stats, which I hope will only improve for sure, aerial at 16 already is great and he’s got speed. 

Kaio Jorge

 

Never ever heard of this boy but he’s got decent stats, dejavu? Hoping this young Brazilian who I didn’t think I’d get as he has no caps for Brazil but once I appealed he came through. 
 

Conclusion

So really looking forward to this one as I have no idea how these players will turn out as it’s so early on with the game coming out. I will be back in a bit with my transfers and the tactic.

I know I can’t help it, proper gets me in to a game when I do, I’m trying to think of a unique long term career, so until then, challenges will do 🤣

Season 1

Hello and welcome to the first season of the delightful career I have planned for you all. Was hoping I could settle for a tactic that would score plenty but go through our main strikers. I got to say I fiddled with the tactic all season, I never want to see how many the strikers score and look right at the end, so I was fiddling when maybe I didn’t need too.

Very happy with the first season transfer business and I think it’s a better job than I did last seasons game, even though less came in, we also made a big impressions through the affiliate market, sending 9 players out on loan and some of them really improving out on loan.

Results

 

So a fantastic first season in charge, loads of goals and we were really dominant in the league, our squad is already a lot stronger than others in Scotland, so could be loads of goals to come hopefully!

So not a bad start at all really, boys really performed well, I tried to play them every game but injuries here and there but nothing massive, hopefully as they improve this will only Improve.

Season 2

Welcome back to the second season of my triple threat delight. We had a great first season and we were hoping to do the same this season.

Transfers

So we brought in some real good young players, hate selling Frimpong as he was already up there with the best RB’s on the game already. I seen how good Gallagher went in my Chelsea season after just one season so I really wanted him at Celtic, he hasn’t improve yet, but I’m sure he will. 
 

Tactic

Not going to go much in to this, but it’s the same set up as last seasons triple threat I made, it didn’t seem as strong as last year but I don’t know if that’s me being OTT. I did notice though as I only play one centre back, that the relationships don’t go as high as there is no connection between some players as they don’t connect. So even though we had a good season as seen below, I will be creating a totally new tactic and try and get my team all connected as 1 ❤️

So looking at this maybe the season went better than I was thinking typing up there, but I still felt like we had way more to give in games and we weren’t creating as many chances as I like in some games, I’m always chasing perfection, but maybe this is as good as it gets. We need to win a European Cup soon if I want to keep the players happy, can’t afford there wages.

Well another decent season, still expecting more off them though, Esposito is an absolute baller already and the other two have great stats as well, like I said earlier I am going to work on a new system even though they are scoring a lot, may well end up going back to this tactic. But we shall see.

Season 3

Hello and welcome back for the third season of the Triple Threat Delight. So after having quite a few successful tactics last year I was not struggling but was still trying to find the perfect way of getting all the goals to come from the front 3, let’s see how we got along.

So some nice business, we managed to sort out goalkeeping department for the remainder of this challenge hopefully as Mesiler is young and class. Lots of players have improved big time by going out on loan, I loaned Turnbull out but then sold Moriba so brought him back and he looks quality, 20 in passing now!

Tactic

So this is the base I used all season but as you can imagine, the player roles, attack and shape were changed throughout, for now this is what it will stay as, I actually stuck with this for last 10 games without change, at the end of the challenge I will release this tactic as I can’t imagine me using it again this year.

Results

 

So another fine season domestically as we run rampant in the league, but again 3 year on the trot we go out in the first knockout stages, wish is very disappointing as we dominated both games again. Hopefully next year will be our year, we’ve had a tough tie each year.

Great work mate and strange old tactic, but love all the connections there. Just starting another save and gonna go with a tactic where I have one at the back and the lack of connection does worry me a bit. Not ready to give up on it yet, but will probably experiment like you've done sooner or later.

Fantastic score from the lads, especially Esposito. This is gonna be a big score!

Well after a good start to this one. I’m afraid it’s ending prematurely, all 3 are asking for moves away, wanting 325k a week to stay, I can offer max 100k. So not much I can do, I could possibly switch clubs, but for now it’s on the back burner, may be revisited.

Let them ask for a contract or offer a contract when they are in the final 2 or 3 months. They will ask way less then... hopefully

I was thinking of doing that, but they are doing my head in, requesting transfers every two mins 🤣I think once I do triple threat again, I’ll either sign lesser players for Celtic or go somewhere else.

Season 4

Well hello there, as I said earlier I thought I would return to this career, so the last couple of days I haven’t posted an update on one of my many careers, because I had been testing a few things out, mostly to see how many goals I could score, when I seen the results I was getting I thought this career would be perfect to implement my new tactic.

So I wanted to get Esposito to sign a new deal and I thought only way to do it is to make money, not possible yet, we still need to sell. Connor Gallagher went in a straight swap with Sander Berge, which doesn’t show annoyingly.

Tactics

Ultra attacking, with the hope now that I have 5 in the middle, they won’t take goals off the front 3, it worked great with my test with PSG and I think I’ll use this for the Barca one as I try it again.

So an expected cup run which ended in a win, not much to say, the quality of the team was far above anyone in Scotland.

So another day another cup, like I said earlier when you go Celtic you’re doing it as an easy career which you want full of goals and boy are we doing that.

So don’t think I’ve ever had a goal difference as good in my FMM days but I’m over the moon with it, granted if I was in a harder league it would be nothing like that.

So we win the champions league in a thriller of a game, our champions league campaign was mad, we scored 33 goals in the group stage, I wish I took a screenshot but I forgot 😥

Crazy amount of goals being scored here at Celtic, I had a very high number last year with my triple threat at PSG and it makes me think if I chose Scotland last year it would have been similar. Nearly at the 1,000 mark as well now.

So I’ve finally made it to the 100 club and comfortably with Esposito, but to be honest I was a bit embarrassed to post this as the number of goals was so mental, made me look back at my PSG triple threat, I was getting big numbers but shared out more and In a better league so maybe these numbers could be expected but I’m over the moon with these numbers. Especially as I’ve never had someone score over a 100.
