Season 10

So, for the final season of the first decade, we venture into the Mexican Premier Division with a 97 year old club having rich history:

We stormed to the Apertura title after overturning our 3-5 home leg loss and winning the away leg 0-3.

 

Clausura

When Clausura came, we were functioning like a full on freight train, guzzling our opponents without any resistance:

We took top position without losing a match and scoring 58 goals in 19 matches.

We won both the legs of the final and for the first time in Mexico, we had won both the leagues. 

We didn't stop there though, also picking up the Mexican Cup:

A dominant 6-0 win in the home leg and 8-0 overall. In fact, we went on an unbeaten 33 match run since the start of Clausura:

We were in the World Cup with Portugal and Honduras in our group. We managed to qualify after running Portugal close and defeating Honduras. Then, we went on a giant killing run defeating Cameroon and Ghana before falling to home side Italy in the quarters. Croatia shocked the world though when they picked up the World cup on shootout after their normal time ended 2-2 with Spain.

It has been almost a month since i played this save and i am just not getting the vibes to go back to this so i am cutting this journey short as chasing badges, VPL and a brand new secretive career has taken me far away from this.

 

So, thank you for everyone who followed this.
