Challenges Badge 01: Spurs’ Deadly Duo

This first badge from the Badge of Honour series (the concept is linked to in the spoiler below) focuses on two Tottenham players who have been setting the world alight.

Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son have become one of the Premier League’s most captivating double acts, delivering goals and assists in generous amounts. They tear teams apart and link up incredibly well.

To earn your Spurs’ Deadly Duo badge you need to manage Tottenham for two seasons. 

Your score will be goals and assists for both Kane and Son. 

The benchmark to beat is 100 goals and 50 assists, at which point you will earn your badge and your total score (goals and assists for Kane and Son across both of the two seasons) will be submitted to the leaderboard. You can play either player in any position.

Just to clarify, the total goals for Kane + Son needs to pass 100. They don’t need to score 100 each. It’s the same with 50 for assists.

The generic rules are here:

• No unlockables;
• No cheating;
• Own formations;
• And that means don’t steal the BP and change one instruction - you know who you are! That is cheating;
• Any badge and reputation;
• Any database;
• Transfers, etc, allowed;
• You can attempt the challenge multiple times, but only your top score will be on the leaderboard;
• Again, don’t be a cheat

So the G+A is 150 for Son and 150 for Kane or 150 for Son + Kane?

I found the assists a bit easier. It’s the goals I started to panic about. I will post my attempt over the weekend.

I’ll attempt it over the weekend as well, once I get this season out the way with Celtic, I shall give my all for the badge!

I think 100 goals Son+Kane combined and same for assists.

Looks like we’re using K&S similarly mate, also both need to get a bit more involvement from our MR/L. It’s a tricky position to get right, I usually prefer to play fullbacks there as defensive wingers but I’ve tried to go more attacking here but not paying off just yet.

It is deffo a ‘few times’ challenge. I’ve changed my tactics through too often. I should have settled on something sooner.

i didnt use Bale, he is to low Player

 

BTW i have december at season and Kane scored 29goal, Son assist21 times

I think mine is going well, but I don’t look at assists and goals until end of the season, so however I’ve done this season will be posted 🤣

Don’t forget the 50 assists are for Kane and Son in total. For example if both got 25 then you’d meet the target (25 + 25). It’s the same with goals. 100 is the total target, so if Kane got 70 and Son got 30 you’d meet that target too.

I’ve started my attempt tonight and just went straight in with a system from last year and just farting on with set pieces as I’m going. It’s safe to say it’s not quite going to plan so far especially when it comes to team results.
