Thanks mate.  Yes injuries are more this year. I was lucky with Bruno but all my strikers like Rashford, Greenwood, Cavani and Martial got injured for at least a month each.

Ronaldo won a host of awards including the Primera Liga Golden Boot. 

But the question is how did he do in terms of challenge?

He was at 19 goals in 1st January 2021. He scored 57 goals in total which gives us 38 goals to the challenge.

He has to now score 41 goals more to cross the benchmark and we will get roughly 20-22 matches for it. So, an average of brace per match.

This is looking a big fail now.

Just a quick update, for the last couple of months in the last season, i was using this tactic which was bearing fruits, so i decided to bring in Christian Eriksen and employ him:

And the results have been promising so far:

He managed to keep himself injury free and scored a bulk goals.

 

So, 24 goals in 15 matches. He has lit up the league with 21 in 12.

 

Highlights

 

So, we need 16 more goals to achieve the benchmark. But how many games we are left with??

Only 7 games left for us to get to 16 goals. So, we would need more than a brace to get it.

 

This is definitely going to be my 1st fail attempt at badge.

It’s going to be tight but even if you fail, you’re very close and will surely get it soon enough. I’ve been trying to get it with him as a loan striker and I just can’t get it going yet as I can’t get the consistency. I think I’ll try something else like you have with him having more support and may possibly try him in the T role in my Bruno system as Bruno got plenty of goals in that and he was taking corners rather than being on the end of them.

Well we didn't had the last laugh as the lack of fixtures in December meant this was our final tally:

We needed 40 but Ronnie scored 34, falling 6 goals short.

So, for the first time, i have failed a badge challenge.

I will definitely have another crack once i circumvent the cruel VPL challenge.

Also, i have something else on the works which will be revealed in a couple of days.

Ok so this is frustrating. I have two more attempts at this. 

In the first one, Ronaldo was scoring at almost 2 goals a game but then he gets injured for a freaking 7 months!!!!! 

Next one, he started missing penalties and free kicks like nobody's business. 

I am gonna take a pause from this for a while otherwise I may go mad. 😠😠
