Season 4:

Im flying through these seasons right now and with a full week off work starting today, one would suspect you'll see a lot more of me between now and then.

Season 4 followed a similar pattern to the two before it, as we win the Greek Super League and Greek Cup, but go out of the CL in the first Knockout round, this time to Conte's Inter Milan outfit, losing 4-3 on aggregate, all of the last 3 seasons, we have lost by one goal at the same stage, its getting annoying 😬

Yep Koutsias missed a hat trick of penalties in one match, safe to say I was very angry! 

 

Mady Camara rejoins us from FC Koln, we required another workhorse in the middle and Mady was available, welcome back! The wonderkid Ethan Ampadu arrives from Chelsea for 19.75 Mil to replace the outgoing Ruben Semedo at BPD. A couple of freebies this year as Mavropanos and Michelis arrive, the former being a pretty good CD, the latter has the potential to become a quality CD or CM. 

A lot of the older group of players left this season, Semedo (29), Vlachodimos (29) and Baba Rahman (29), all departed while they still had some value to recoup. 

 

We did get this nice little surprise. 

Of course we accepted! 

Some extra money should go a long way. 

 

Koutsias developed very nicely, although he now has unlikely to improve significantly on his training report. Troboukis improved slightly, strength and movement by 1, his training report now states some potential to improve though so that's handy, he may improve some more for another season or so. Vasiltsis though looks to have pretty much peaked, stamina and strength by 1, he should have one more development increment in him, but who knows when that'll be, could be next season, could be in 5 years! 🤷‍♂️

 

Koutsias tops the charts once again, scoring 35 in 38, second was Troboukis, scoring 19 in 35 and Vasiltsis with the least output, scoring 18 in 38.

An improvement on last season with 72 goals between them, but still 3 short of our best and frankly nowgere near enough to complete the challenge, still though we go again and a few more tweaks to the tactic to hopefully unlock more goals.

Koutsias looks a good striker now, shame the other two haven’t developed as well, hopefully you find a way of getting them to score consistently.

Back to my normal self 😂

 

Ampadu was so cheap, it was a no brainer really, he fell out of favour at Chelsea and I was more than happy to snap him up

 

Yep I really like Koutsias, he looks like a Btec Harry Kane, the other two are lagging behind badly. I think I'm going to change the formation this year as changing a few instructions hasnt had the impact I hoped for.

Season 5:

Two updates in one day, how lovely!

A customary Domestic double as we wrap up the league smashing goals scored record by 26 and keeping a kind of solid defense too, the Greek Cup was won by beating Panathinaikos 2-0 in the final, both Giorgos grabbing a goal apiece. However the bad news our CL first knockout round curse continues... and this time we weren't even close to advancing, Man City tore us apart at their ground 7-1🤦‍♂️ after beating us 2-0 at our place, wrapping up a complete route by 9 goals to 1 on aggregate. 

 

Two familiar faces arrived in Serrano and Araujo, two graduates of the famous Barca youth system, the other 3 all regens as we're now approaching that part of the game. 

 

This was how we lined up this year:

As you can see I opted against changing formation, instead drastically changing roles and instructions, we made use of two new roles, as we went with two RP's and two IW's, with the idea being that we'd flood the centre of the park and create more chances for our strikers. 

 

We're getting so little growth anymore that it's becoming pointless to mention. 

 

Troboukis managed 23 in 34, Koutsias 39 in 39 😊 and Vasiltsis 20 in 39. That gives us 82 this season which beats our best season by 7, promising numbers, we need to push on from here. 

 

This is Goncalo Inacio, the regen we signed from Real Madrid 3 years ago, he has became a star for us in a short space of time and has been given the captains armband, which almost everybody at the club loves that he's captain. 29 goals and 90 assists in 3 seasons, what a baller!

We are just over a 1/5 of the way there, which means this would take around 23 to 24 years to complete, I really hope it doesn't drag on that long, they'd all be in their 40's by then, so surely at least one of them will have retired and we will have failed 😬 but this season has gave me a little more hope that we might actually pull this off, as long as we kick on from this and have a good few years.

There's 36 league games, but just one cup, though the QF and SF have two legs, this seasons fixtures was very congested for a reason I still haven't worked out, so I had to rotate quite a bit, but I'm thinking since the three of them have pretty much peaked that I should just put them on low training intensity and squeeze out a few more matches that way. 

 

Yeah Inacio is a beast, his mentals are the only thing that I'd like to be better, he still has potential to improve though so he could become the ultimate winger, I feel I may be wasting him as an IW cause his stats are almost perfect to play as an outright Winger, maybe I'll tweak that for season 6.

I fear Greece maybe unmanageable, even though there is over 2000 players in the pool. 

 

Frank De Boer is their current manager and his job security is insecure but Greece don't show up on the jobs list as a potential job if you know what I mean, not sure I'm explaining it very well

Season 6:

 

The journey continues and my fears were eased: 

Frank De Boer got the boot, I applied and I was hired.

We win the Greek domestic double again! Scored 14 less than last season in the league though and the Greek Cup final was closer than it deserved, we won 3-2 but completely dominated the game. Alas though we went out of our CL group that consisted of Borussia Dortmund, PSG and Sparta Prague, we finished 3rd with two wins and 4 losses (I think you can guess who they came against) that meant we'd be playing in the Europa League and I really believed we could go all the way in it, but RB Salzburg had different ideas come the Quarter Finals, we were much the better side over two legs, but couldn't convert enough of our opportunities and lost 3-2 on aggregate. 

 

A new goalie arrived in Arthur Werner, a big fee but one that I think will pay off as he's an upgrade on Vergara, Vietto and Robinson are both wonderkids that can play a number of roles in the middle of the park. 

Not much of note here, except Chrysostomidis who was a greyed out player that I promoted when my players were complaining about a lack of depth, I was very surprised we got 6 mil for him. 

 

Players before I got the Greece job:

As you can see only Koutsias had ever made it to the First team, playing 26 games and scoring 9 goals, with the other two playing a few for the U21's. 

 

Players at the end of season:

We played two international games this season, and all 3 players grabbed 1 goal each, not much but we only took over with two friendlies left to play. I think landing the Greece job is going to be huge for us. With the international tournaments coming up. 

 

Statistics:

Koutsias managed 28 in 43 plus one ITN goal

Troboukis managed 29 in 39 plus one ITN goal

Vasiltsis managed 22 in 43 plus one ITN goal

 

Club goals only equates to 79 (3 less than last season) but adding the 3 ITN goals brings it to 82.

 

GV: 121+1 ITN

ST: 132+1 ITN

GK: 169+1 ITN

 

Total: 425/1500

Season 7:

League and Cup double and out in the first Knockout round of the CL, normal service resumed then, this ywar we topped our CL group and met Barca in the 1st round, because why would we get it easy 😠 and Barca pretty much scored every shot on target they had over two legs, winning 11-2 on aggregate 😭 (ignored the goalscorers in that match, they bugged out) 

 

Not much to note. 

Vergara became tired of being our backup goalie, so we cashed in. 

 

New Stadium next season that almost doubles our current stadiums capacity. There was only ever going to be one name. 

We are finally a 5 Star rep club now too, which gives us access to all world class players and boosted the amount of wages we can offer from 120k a week to 300k a week. 

 

Some growth this season, Trouboukis got a development increment this season too, giving him +2 Pace and +1 to Shooting and Movement. 

 

ITN Goals:

Vasiltis bagged 7 ITN goals while Koutsias also bagged 7, but the international star of the bunch was Trouboukis who scored 11.

 

The boys grabbed 86 Club goals this ywar which is the best we've managed so far in a single season, add the 25 total ITN goals and we have 111 goals for the season. Very happy with this and one would assume we can only get better.

We're now a 1/3 of the way there and I'm much more satisfied, if only we could go further in Europe. Nonetheless so happy with this season and I long for more of the same. Access to more wages and the top players in the world should help big time. Next seasons Transfer Window might be a very busy one. Thanks for reading.

Thanks mate, they certainly aren't great 😂 tha fact that only Koutsias was deemed good enough to play for ITN team shows just how bad the other two are, but if I can complete this TT with them, I'll be proud

Season 8:

 

I was too excited to not upload this at 4:10am GMT. 

 

A complete system overhaul that was badly needed.

League and Cup again! Managed to score 140 goals in the league which is our best to date, 3rd place in the CL group stage, meant we'd ply our trade in the Europa League, amazingly we went all the way and beat Spurs 5-2 in the final, claiming our first piece of European silverware in 8 attempts, Finally! 

 

The change of system required reinforcements at WB

Camara left for the second time, but he was a great servant, Araujo fell out of favour also with us playing just one CD now. 

 

No growth of note this year. 

 

Koutsias managed a massively impressive 64 (+5 ITN) in 43! Troboukis got a respectable 34 (+7 ITN) in 43 and Vasiltsis scored 24 (+4 ITN) in 41. That gives us a club total of 122 add the 16 ITN goals, makes it 138, a total that makes me very happy and relieved, the tactical change has made a massive difference and the future looks brighter.

Total: 674/1500

 

Depighted with this season, but it's now 4:40am, Koutsias and Co. are allowed to go to bed now, as will I 😂

Congrats on the Euro Cup. Also looks like you cracked the tactic this season, that's a big improvement. I'm super interested to see you make 1 at the back work, because that's what I used for my DT and TT last year, then used it in the Liverpool Front 3 etc, and it was massive - but when I tried it in FMM21, I got hammered! I guess I might need to wait until my team is settled down and maybe a little more superpowered before trying it...

Anyway, great stuff mate, keep it up!

Thanks mate, I think the league has a massive part to play in my 1 atb working, my team pretty good but we still have the odd blip, in my CL group we scored 23 and conceded 20 😬 that must be some sort of record 😂

Thanks Sir Dave of Goalsalot, I don't know why I played Troboukis at Target Man and not Koutsias all this time, GK's attributes are so much better at TM, I guess I just didn't want Troboukis as a Poacher with 11 pace, but now he's got 16 Pace, he's much more suited to a Poacher now.

Season 9:

In a matter of days our 'Stars' have gone from boys to men, starting out as little whippets aged 16 or 17, they're now into their peak age at 25/26 and thus in theory they should have some brilliant seasons for the next few years, here's how this one went:

Greek League and Cup win again! Unbeaten league season scoring a huge 142 goals, a GpG of 3.94 Ignore all the Cup match stats. My player scored for AEK and Dani Olmo scored a brace for me!! What!?!? Olmo doesn't even play for me. On a better note, we have finally claimed the CL, following on from our Europa League triumph last year, I'm glad to get our hands on the pinnacle of European Football after all this time.

 

 

Whiney Werner Wanted to Withdraw, so Marvelous Meslier Made his Move. 

 

GV had one development increment this year, but it wasn't a very useful one.

What a season from our shining light, Koutsias has been sensational over the last two seasons and is truly our MVP every year. 121 Club goals between them (one goal short of last season) add the 29 ITN goals, giving us a total of 150 goals for this season, smashing last seasons record by 12.

We're now just past halfway, I can almost guarantee the next half won't take 9 seasons to achieve with the very abrupt increase in output thanks largely to a new tactic, 4 or 5 more seasons could see this challenge wrapped up. However a lot of my main team superstars are hitting the 30 mark and a drop in attributes seems just around the corner, I have bred some great talent through the youth system though, so I'm not too worried if a few of our star players start to decline, anyway that's for another day.

Season 10:

Work forced me to take a little break from FMM, but we have another season in the bag and it's LIVE!!

5 trophies go hsoot for this season, but just the 2 came home, surprise surprise it was the Greek League and Cup double. We competed in our first ever CWC and made it all the way to the final, where a certain Man City waited. They demolished us, with Marcus Rashford of all people scoring 2 late on to round off a 7-3 thumping at the famous Luzhniki stadium. 

 

 

They're are all halfway into their peak years now, but growth is next to nothing at this stage. I resigned from the Greece Job at the start of this season, it was too monotonous. 

 

106 goals this season. As always GK got the majority of them with 52, then ST with 33 and lastly GV with 21.
